If I was a Liverpool defender I'd be shitting myself - so much movement absolutely all across the whole width of the pitch from us.

Navas, Clichy and Jovetic all look fantastic so far this preseason. You can tell the summer break has done them a world of good.

Also Zuculini is good enough for the first team squad already. He'll get loaned out but if we could get £10m+ go for Garcia I'd take it and keep this young lad.

I'm loving this inverted full back thing that Clichy is playing. He's dead good at it.

Did we only have 11 on the pitch then ?

Seemed a lot more than Liverpool's 12. Totally outclassed them. If Ed had his shooting boots on & the crosses had been a bit more accurate, we would have a cricket score. Jovetic is now showing how he can do some of the stuff Silva does.

Once we get everyone fit, we are going to be significantly stronger than last season & Jovetic is like a new mega signing.

For a 0-0 that was quite entertaining. It was quite plain to see that after 5 minutes we began to dominate and they tried to hit us on the break (no chnage there then). We've both had chances but on the whole I'd say we are the better of both teams.

As we're still playing the majority of our second team or players out of position I have no qualms at all.

Second half I'd suggest more of the same (As if I have to!) and make sure we hammer Stevie Starfish, just for the sake of it. Afterall, this is just a friendly don't you know.

Should be ahead on the balance of play really, jovetic looks really sharp and a great player, Stevie can't get near him! At the other end fernando has cuntinho in his back pocket! Will be fucked off if we don't go on and win this!

Wait-One, I was wrong. The highlights I've just seen suggest the complete opposite.

Sorry.

Fox Sports is more balanced towards City.
