Be doing well to get 12m for him as improved as he was towards the end. If we sell him and lampard goes to NYC in jan, it leaves us a tad short from jan on if u ask me, we are an injury or a late returning yaya away from playing Milner or mdm in there!

Interesting if true, as I believe the Count fucked Garcia off from Real Madrid pretty much straight away.

Did quite well last season in the run in as the back-up midfielder but he's not got a chance of getting any minutes this year now we have Fernando who has the dynamic qualities needed for the DMF role. Good luck to him if he moves on.

Technically he's pretty good but he has no pace and that's not going to change. Rodwell and Garcia; that last Mancini transfer window being shown the door.

Really can't see this happening. Destination seems so unlikely. A great example of the silly season. Garcia to score a hat trick on Sunday.

For me though, so far, Fernando has not actually been better than Garcia. He's shown signs of what he can do, but he's not actually doing it properly yet.

Assuming he gets it together, he will be significantly better than Garcia, but as it stands right now, Garcia leaving weakens the squad imo.
