I m just glad that i can't watch SKY like u must week in week out because they are disgustingly biased and it's something like this; always against City no matter who they play , For Rags Scouse and Wengernal in that order. I was even amazed how much they where against Everton yesterday. I really don't get how TV can be biased in there own league. By the way i hate monday games bu i's good on monday if nothing :) 2 0 tonight , Edin , Yaya .

I'm confident of the win, and am hoping we bury the bastards so far into the ground they won't know where to lay the wreath.

Absolutely, particularly as all the media now loathe and detest City, in a strange parallel to the way that 'ordinary' football fans have felt an unwavering antipathy towards the Scum for many years.

Since Liverfool, in the current absence of Butthead's Swamplanders, are the renewed darlings of the airwaves, we've got to absolutely smash them without mercy, if only to infuriate all those who nauseatingly and obsequiously favour them.

Zabaleta for Clichy and that's it I suspect. Fernandinho and Aguero on the bench. Personally I'd put on Fernandinho and have a three in central midfield. Have Nasri on the bench. Still I don't think he'll do that.

Navas from the beginning, please! He's too fast for them, definitively!

BT Sport just showed the 08-09 match where they won 3-2 after us being 2-0 up. That game still hurts! Never felt so deflated and angry at the end of a game, way more so than the 4-3 or the loss against Spurs.

Few things to note from that game:
1.)Even back then Hart was into his Kamikaze, charging out the goal and getting nowhere near the ball habit.
2.) Although he had his clear faults, Robinho's touch and control was exquisite, Silva-esque. He really was a class above anyone we had at that time.
3.) Why the hell did we ever sign Jo?

A midfield three of Fernando, inho, and Yaya should have the athleticism and ability to dominate most people we come against. Add in Zabba + Sergio and I think we'll be good to go.

If we turn up it should be a resounding win. Would love nothing more than to smack the shit munching grin off Rodgers face. It also seems the ideal night for Jovtic to have a breakout game.

COME ON CITY!!!

Hammering this lot would be particularly satisfying, shut the smug c*nts up. However, the three points is utmost so get the job done any which way.

i hate playing these cunts with their stupid run around like assholes approach. plus, it's just a lose-lose for us. if we win or draw, the fuckface media will point to poor officiating, FFP and all the filthy money we've spent, it's a long season, our away form will sink us, etc. if we lose, we'll never hear the end of it from the bindipping cunts and their horsetooth fuckwit manager.

A bad result tonight would have little bearing on the rest of our season - we have had stutters in our last two Premier League winning seasons and prevailed. If we give Liverpool a sound thrashing, though, it could have a much more profound and detrimental effect on them, especially if they are weak in attack and create little.

A match to look forward to; though I'm firmly of the belief that the outcome is much more important to Rodgers and his team than it is to Pellegrini et al.

Just a quick question - what's the capacity tonight? Has the expansion been completed, temporarily halted to allow maximum available capacity, or are huge swathes of the stadium closed off? If anyone going to the game could take a pic of the current situation, it'd be much appreciated.

I've got the Manchester City Season Review 2008-2009 DVD that I'm not sure I've ever watched. These days, it ought to make for quite fascinating viewing.
