Peter Drury and Jim Beglin are piss-poor commentators. Drury first called our stadium "The Emirates" and Beglin just implied that Mancini was our manager. Both are biased as fuck as well.

Before the goal, i would have said we should change Jovetic with Fernandinho, push Yaya up and take Nasri out and put Milner in.

Fernando is the type we player we were convinced he was, an octopus. His role in our attacking system will be zero, but defensive, he will be a key in us retaining the title. He is so different from Fernandinho, we look more secure with him, but our offensive it is not the same.

I really enjoy how we looked with both of them in at Newcastle. I would do that again, knowing now that Yaya has a yellow card.

Nowhere near our best and beating the ch.. err runners up 1 nil.That will do fine but it feels like this game has come a few matches too early for us as some don't seem fully fit yet and I don't just mean Yaya although it does seem he's going to be the target till he wins games on his own again.

I wonder how MP would see this? No changes for a while unless he has to but then we can expect Fernandinho and Aguero to get a run out. Clean sheet is all I want now and it's the perfect start but I think the next 45 minutes will seem like a week.

there have been others advocating this, but i think it's not likely here. we are at home plus liverpool ain't quite real madrid.

i don't see that as the problem right now, as nasri seemed to played reasonably well.

we just seem not quite in sync.
