Just a whistle changes the game and as we seen tonight, it's already allowed to pick sides.

but silva is blatantly fouled in the box late on. that goes in and we win 1-0.

3 in 3 and i'm not given us good odds to start getting decisions against chelsea..

But apparently it will all even itself out.

All we have to do is wait...

You wouldn't want to be paranoid or anything would you?

3 penos not given in one week.

How many teams can say that?

i said since that young twerp at wembley that the refs will do their best to stop us.

Pointless and questionables yellows are totting up every week

The only decent ref is Phil Dowd. Two bad decisions definite penalty when YaYa brought down and Fabregas not getting a yellow. Zaba was always going to go when Costa starting fighting him.

Very surprised today. He seemed to let loads of stuff go and made for a very interesting, wholesome game but then seemed to change tact and issue 3 or 4 cards in a short period of time, I don't think Zab's was a 1st card but the 2nd one was no issue and the fact that worse went on further down the line made it look like he was more than a little suspect, especially the follow through on Kolarov that he then put down as a throw-in.

The penalty decisions are getting a little worrying though, with one of a couple today looking nailed on. Also worrying for me is the fall-out of all these yellow/red cards. It may not have an affect at the moment but just wait later down the road when we're getting game bans for hitting the interim marks, losing players after meaningful CL games. Is as if it's all coming together to make our season as hard as possible.

Dean had a bit of a mare today. We should have had at least two penalties (Yaya and Costa's second on Dzeko), but Chelsea also had one legit claim (Yaya's handball). But where he really fucked up was with concistency. Our players got carded for challanges that barely led to free kicks when Chelsea did them.

That said, our way of playing was always going to lead to cards. We were very aggressive in closing them down, and seemed hell-bent on not letting thwm counter.

but this is the standard. same vs arsenal. sanchez dives and gets us booked. silva kicked to fuck and no free kick. then wilshere hacks us down and plays handball and no card?

This. I was thinking about lobbing my seasoncard away today. Fucking shameful, bent refereeing for 3 league games in a row? Is anyone at the club making a fuss about this? BENT.

The amount of decisions going against us so far this season is a huge cause of concern , nailed on penalties in every game not given , endless yellow cards for fuck all , no consistency ie opposition not getting yellows for similar tackles ......... Costa today raised his hands and manhandled Zabba and only a yellow ???? Dean is usually ok when reffin us but today he was fucking shocking !!! Every ref we have had so far has been fucking shocking !!! AGENDA !
Not really here
