Absolute disgrace. Jogging round trying to look busy. We did well to hold out as long as we did with him and Yaya on the bloody pitch.

Pellers needs to sort these 2 players out......and quick.

Toure seems to be playing for a move already, despite the talk of a new contract & Nasri seems to have reverted to the ways Roberto was so critical of. Clichy was himself & Sagna did OK for only his 2nd game. He's not Zabba, but a decent back up

A French Duke. Never trusted him an inch, even when everybody was wanking him off last year. I would have preferred Milner in there last night.

A bit harsh, see where your coming from, Milner does have to get more games though that is fair. Nasri's performance against the dippers was brilliant, I do have a gripe with him and have had it for some time, he is a HOMER, never seems to do it much away from the Etihad.

I've always really liked Nasri, but he does seem out of shape at the start of the season. Both him and Yaya look like they have added a stone to their match weight and neither of them is putting in the required effort on the pitch. I hope he will snap out of t, because in form and with his head in the right place he is a fantastic player.

Is it just a coincidence that these 2 are best mates on and off the pitch? Dragging each other down?

I hear he had to take a pay cut. Maybe he's only giving us 80% because of that.

He was in the middle of a great run of form last season when some twat for Newcastle decided to do him in. He's not had that same drive since he got over that injury imo. He'd just started running at people and everything and he's stopped doing that again now.

I'm glad Mr Tackle started this thread. I'd love to see him run at players more and take them on like Robben does. It's within him, but he doesn't do it. I'm sure he's also playing to orders but his ball skills and ability to retain possession is there. Just be more aggressive with it Nazzer!!

Good question and the answer is, almost nothing. I would start Milner ahead of him in every match.

That's it in a nutshell.

He was better than Silva at that time, but since he came back, he's just been a middling sort of player. He's not usually shite, just average with bits of good stuff & bits of shite. But we need a real top class player in his position.

Frustrating player to watch, i used to forgive him, but he just dont improve.
Didnt he used to have technique? This tip tap shit isnt enough, Milner can play for him every time. Hate he's smiling and joking at every warmup before match, consentrate on your play and take it more seriously.

trouble is Jimmy is (maybe) better in the middle.

Surely Navas and Silva deserve to be the starting 'wide' pair

Samir has sadly lost something from his game this season. Ironically, his change in form has meant that Alex K appears the more attacking option on the left, by comparison.

I'm not sure if it's his weight, confidence, desire to be involved or just he's slowing down and he knows it?

The most bemusing is that he's starting ahead of James M, at present. It feels like MP selects him, in the hope he'll 'burst into life' - and then subs him when it doesn't happen!

Perhaps his training form is brilliant?

At the moment we need to dig deep, especially midfield, and grind out results based on sheer hard work. That's an approach which currently doesn't suit Samir & Yaya! But it is the definition of players like the 2 Fs and James M!!!

I highly doubt that Sami is significantly overweight or anyone else for that matter. Immediately on return for training in the summer maybe but clubs measure body fat very scientifically and regularly and simply wouldn't stand for it.
