Seeing as it's international break and it's the first game and all.
0-0 after 5 minutes and City are playing like..... City.
Duff starts, Villa is on the bench.

Watching the game but I can't really get behind them. Even the shirt colour is wrong. And why Villa is not starting?

Villa isn't starting because he only flew in this week. Expect a 2nd half sub.
Been the better team and dominated possession but no goals as yet. 0-0.

It ends 1-1. Very noticeable was the impact the City style had on Melbourne. Keeping possession, recycling play and involving the keeper as a sweeper.

Can we put this into a bit of context? Where are Sydney and Melbourne in the scheme of things with regard to the A League? I know Melbourne are relatively young compared to football but who are the main players?
