I see that all the tickets seem to have been sold and they have now opened the central 3 sections of the CB 3rd tier. I certainly hope we are sold out everywhere else as it will make a much better atmosphere. No idea if the barcodes have sold out but I very much doubt it, they don't like coming to our place.

I think we will have a very different line up to Saturday

Willy

Sagna Kompany MDM Kolarov

Sinclair Nasri Fernandinho Jovetic Milner

Dzeko

I read somewhere yesterday (maybe SSN), that the Geordies have sold out there 3000 allocation.

I would like to see that line up, but I have a feeling that Nasri won't start, and Kompany may be rested.

Newcastle have quite a few players out injured I believe so we should have too much for them.

If I see the team sheet and see that we have 2 strikers starting, I might just go and get back in my car and go home....I hope Pellers has seen that it doesn't work this season.

Sinclair? Really?

Nasri will prob come off the Judi Dench Id wager, though Id start him. Think Pellegrini goes a strongish team here with help on the bench if required, though its all guesswork. At a guess

Caballero

Sagna
Demichelis
Mangala
Kolarov

Fernandinho
Milner

Navas
Jovetic
Nasri

Dzeko

Subs
Hart
Zab
Kompany
Fenando
Ya Ya
Silva
Aguero

Be gutted if a few of the EDS don't get in the squad.

Main reason I'm going.

Wanna see Pozo get a game tonight. Wouldn't mind you Scott getting his chance either.

Zabba, Kompany, Mangala, Kolarov, Toure, Silva, Aguero, and maybe Milner should all be rested for this one, stick boyata and co in there, they will do.

pointless playing sinclair, he's got about as much chance of a regular first team league start as i have
pozo, on the other hand - i'd love to see him play.

willy

sagna
kola
mangala
mdm

fern
milner
samir

pozo
jovetic
dzonkey

yaya, silva, kun, komps, zabba all on the bench just in case

I'd play Fernando instead of Jimmy to find out if the two Ferna's can manage without Yaya

Manchester City have named a strong team for tonight's League Cup tie. David Silva, Yaya Toure, Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic all play. Samir Nasri makes his return from injury on the bench.

City starting XI: Caballero, Sagna, Demichelis, Mangala, Kolarov, Milner, Toure, Fernandinho, Silva, Jovetic, Dzeko.

No messing. Pellegrini wants to retain the trophy. I guess Nasri will get some game time. Good to see that Jovetic gets a start; I'd be inclined to start him against the scum.
