So whats the reason here. Terrible month for us, we were lucky to get to win with the rags, when we could had scored 5. Pathetic performances since the Villa game, so what is the problem?

How the hell did we end up here? Bad summer manangement, players are cunts, lazyness?

How the fucking hell?

They were all over us in the last 15 minutes. Yeah, always a nice win, but what if that Cunt Van Rapist would had scored or the moneygrabbinghairimpantist Rooney decided to shoot instead of diving? Let's wake up and smell the coffee. Last season's City would had fucking murder them. Even with Mancini we scored 4 past them when they were 10 men and at that point Taggart was their manager, not Van Genius.

Yes, we were lucky. We deserved to beat them, not doubt, but we were lucky.

In a way I agree but we should have got 3 pens.

No doubt, well, actually 4. Yaya twice and Sergio twice, plus a handball at Rafael. But beside that, did we actually have a real oportunity to score after Sergio's goal? No, we decided to step back.

But that is not the point, i am not blaming the Count, he has his fault here, no doubt, but why does City have to make a step up (winning the title), then two steps back with a patethic season after that? It happend two years ago and looks like it it might happen again. Why do we fail to build on our succes and make silly mistakes, most of them with the transfers we make?

Why are those players, players that are one of the best in the world, have this mental block in Europe? I am sorry to say, but if we want players like Reus, we need to be a force in Europe. It all comes down to this. If we fail to impress in Europe, we will fail to grow as a club, to grow more and more.

We have had TEN stonewall penalties waved away in our last 13 games.

We may be shakey, but it certainly is not all down to our bad play. Rules are there for a reason.

I now expect us to be peno-raped in every single game and I think the players do too.

It's fucking killing the game for me.

Hard to pinpoint what the reason behind this form is but we need to find a way out of it and i dont think for now that way is to continue to try and play the open attacking football.

After we beat united 6-1 in 2011, they were down, there confidence was shot to pieces but they were managed well over the next few games. i think they won something like there next six games 1-0, nothing fancy, just defending well and grinding out results. Thats exactly what we need to do now, win in the most boring fashion and get some confidence back, especially in the defenders

The scum have had 18 months of a shambles, we seem determined to wait for them and not leave them so far behind it will take yrs to see us again. Tactics are mental , you put a proper number 10 with a fast forward we are fucked, the amount of running our two central MF players are expected to do is plain and simple the biggest mistake Pellers makes, we are Sussed out, he is to stubborn to change. He needs to careful players get managers out when they lose faith at City !

Playing 4-4-2 all the time and having no flexibility to realise it aint working, and isn't the correct formation to optimise our playing squad

Playing players in the wrong places, eg Milner out wide on the left/right

Post-World Cup effect. Zabba looks knackered having playing continually for 15 months with little or no break. Fernandinho is a differenct player so far than the one we saw last season.

Big players not doing it. Yes you Ya Ya, and at times you Sergio. Mr Kompany hasn't been consistent either if hes being honest with himself.

New additions have added numbers to the squad, but as in 2013 when we last won the league, have they improved it? Is Caballero better than Pantilimon? Is Sagna an improvement on Micah the sicknote, who knows what Zuculini is and why he was signed? Lampard is a quick Band-Aid whilst Mangala a long term project but for the others, has our squad been enhanced or just augmented?

No pace or tempo to our play; it seems like its ingrained in the players to wait for every defender of the opposition to get back, before we dare to go over the half way line and go forwards. You can read a book by the time we reach the edge of the oppo's box, only to often go sideways, sideways, back and retreat to the half-way line again

They all need to sit the fuck down and look around the room and decide who has got the stomach for the fight.

100% - does anyone believe this will happen though? its my real doubt about pellers. I can't see him losing it.

Do the Spanish twins come into the dressing room before the game and demand European success? its plain to see no confidence in the whole defence in Europe games. but yaya lacking confidence? No hes just turned into a prick since the summer - and we all called it out he should have been sold. Bad egg and coasting for their first goal. THe whole 10 players looked at him as if to say 'what are you doing' BUT NOBODY has the balls to bollock him. THis is why we need a leader. Kompany does not say boo to yaya.

The only difference between yaya and Mario ballotelli is that yaya has proved himself on the pitch previously.

We weren't lucky to win vs the rags. They were lucky not to be beaten by a cricket score.

Why would anybody give Yaya Toure a marking job at a set piece ? He can't head the ball for shit for a start, & has proved that he's fucking hopeless at man marking.

That is nothing new.

Ted I know your sticking up for Yaya at the moment but I don't think he deserves it.

My answer would be:

1) All players should be able to mark a player at a set piece in a Champions league game.
2) He effectively played as a centre back for Barcelona (Who I THINK won the champions league in that time)
3) Dzeko marks players at set pieces (and he is just about as lazy and lax as yaya is)
4) he is paid £200k and 'owes' the club for the sh1t he came out with over the summer. He is the last player that should be coasting.

The lad made 1 move and Yaya cannot stay touch tight He was a hold MF and centre back in Champs League final for gods sake, was that not nailed on for a captain to dig him out and go fucking mental, I am not saying that is the answer to our problems, but some emotional outburst might just be needed like in the old days a huge tackle or an incident last night was a joke from start to finish, an off night so bad all the stick they get is almost even as a blue right but hurts us more than it appears to them.I watched him fall out at Barca, I know he hugged Pep, but pep is like that, he is a brat and soon to leave it is a no brainer Ted. Barca never missed him did they, I have loved him BTW just pissing me off now.

He played at cb in the final, because there was NO CHOICE. He got arse raped for 15 mins, but the rags missed the chances. Then the rags didn't get another kick & were, like us in Europe, playing like shit.

Dzeko is superb at defending set pieces & rarely loses a challenge, Yaya Toure is an absolute proven fucking liability. Who was marking Cavani at the near post in Napoli ?

Just because he's big he is expected to be reliable defensively, wheras Silva for instance, because he's small, is aknowledged to be shite at it.

I have been saying this since our first game in the CL; Yaya was fucking shocking then defensively, but in those days, everyone was sucking his dick, so I got loads of argument. He was fucking dreadful in the Ukraine i the Europa, one of the worst performances we've seen from a City mid in years, he ground to a halt, yet we were relying on him doing the same job in Moscow four years later.

He is past it at that job & has been since before we signed him. That's why Barca weren't playing him. They didn't realise his attacking qualities & he wasn't doing the job as a dm.

He's now a playmaker, who does a bit of defending, not the box to box player he was when younger. He has said himself he can't do that anymore. If he was 5 ft 6, he wouldn't have any pressure to do it. It's simply because he's tall. Well the fact that he's huge, means that it's twice as hard for him to drag his body round the pitch, as it is for someone half his size.

Stop making him do this shit. He's past it. Let him play football & balance the fucking team. If he unbalances it; drop him.

But just stop asking him to do stuff he's shit at.
