DESPERATELY need a proven quality forward who can play with Kun , or on his own when Kun is injured. (Notice I said "when" , not "if").

No idea how much money we have got.

If the campus comes online, do we get a big influx of sponsorship money then, or would that start next season ?

Evening News is running the Ross Barkley story again, as if we are after him in Jan. Not sure they could find 60 mil in Jan. Could pay half & the rest in summer though I suppose. Rags effectively doing that with Falcao.

I think we should go out and pay £60m for Ross Barkley, leaving a note to Everton when the deal is concluded saying "we would've paid £70m."

Then Khaldoun should travel to Uefa HQ, and wipe his are on Platini's jacket.

Facelift, panic buy, paying stupid money in January, expecting a player to come in and settle. The things we all say about the top teams, they never do major biz in Jan.

That's utter nonsense.

IF, & that's a HUGE 'IF' Barkley was available in January & HUGE 'IF' City had 60 mil to spend, it would be the same money as in summer, because the fucking stupid rags have spent 27 mil on an 18 year old fullback. Obviously, as a centre mid/No 10 possible future No 1 player in the England team, his valuation goes through the roof. If he was going for £40 mil earlier in the season, EVERYONE would have bid on him, therefore the price would go up.

Frankly, slagging off City for being rumoured to be buying Barkley in Jan (they haven't even fucking bought him yet!) for the same money it will cost if we buy him in July, is beyond ridiculous !

The rags got Evra and Vidic in January(although they weren't good instantly). Chavs got Matic last January as well. Liverpool got Coutinho and Sturridge in January.

If I had £60m I would nt dream of spending on a player that spends as much time in the physio room as jack Rodwell. Just can't believe we would be that stupid. He has great potential but can't really weigh that up with the number of games he has started.

Shaw will IMO prove worth every, Barkley would change the whole dynamics of our team, check out his fantastic goal at Newcastle, that is not how we play. Amazing young player who has a big future, the change to our style would be interesting for a lot of players.

Some would've gone in the summer but they think that at some point that we'll get desperate and pay some of their wages. That won't be the case though and as we've budgeted for it, it will just be a bonus to get them off our books.

I'm sure we're looking at players but it will be down to them to make the move, not us being hung out to dry.

That's not quite true is it ?

Repeatedly we hear of needing two players for each position and this is because we compete in four competitions. So a minimum of 22 players is needed.

How many extra players do we have in the first team.squad ??

From Micah, he could replace Distain, Nasty could step in for Alcatraz, Sinclair for Doreen the kit lady, all in £38.46p just 59 mill to find.
