very stupid move for him and for Real…unless they sell Bale or Benzema.

How on earth can you accommodate Reus, Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema, Rodriguez, Kroos, Modric, and Isco. I know Real is a club that wants to challenge in every competition but surely Reus would be smart enough to know that there will be a lot of rotation and less playing time.

Think Bale is yesterday's toy and will be the forgotten man, so sold.

Yep, seems as though the writing is on the wall for Bale, i think of all teams we need him the most but im not sure we can afford it, i would personally do it if i was the boss.

The alternative is that Isco is sold but he has been playing well recently. Spanish newspapers tend to assume that if Real wants a player it will get him. It's usually true!

For me there's a big question mark over Real's finances. The Di Maria sale was a strange one - good player, very effective for them, there was uproar as his departure left a hole - a sticky beginning to the season saw all sorts of rumblings.

With the crisis hitting Spain more than most places they cant get their debts periodically wiped out in the usual fashion. Not sure if FFP has any part to play - but not all is financially rosy either there or down in Catalunya!

Barca blogger Rafael Hernandez picked up gossip that Bale and Romaldo involved in a heated row in the dressing room after last nights match with Atletico.

Kroos? Isn't he a midfielder?

And? i mean, i guess you could say that Reus would really only have to battle it out with Bale and Ronaldo but you could include Benzema in that since you could drop him and play Ronaldo up top. Then you could include Rodriguez cause he's been moved from central to out on "the wing" before. Same for Isco. I guess the only two that Reus wouldn't have to battle it out with are Kroos and Modric but those two would have to battle it out with Rodriguez and Isco…which brings me back to Real being unable to accommodate all those big name players.

It doesn't bite Real . They just play them off against each other, & keep the ones who perform best.

If players want to take the chance, it's understandable. Just like Rodwell & Sinclair coming to us was understandable, even though they knew they would be up against it; Adam Johnson & Milner too in fact.

Did it go so far as them trying to hit each other with their handbags and, if so, who won ??

You mean in a similar way like rag journalists pick up some problems in City's dressing room even when there is none?

Chelsea look set to sign Juan Cuadrado.

somehow they manage to sell a fringe player and fund a move for a potential star player.
whatever they're doing over there in terms of their transfers is pretty smart.

The fees they have had in are incredible Louise with the Fro 50 mill, that is an O.B.E for the man who pulled that one off.

no comments about mancini saying he wants yaya this summer?

can't really see him going to inter just yet, but surely the fee would help us have a better shot at landing pogba.

Not if Mancini has any say. The article from last week said Mancini wants to pay under 10m for him because City need to recoup $ for FFP

Actullay it wasnt Mancini. My bad.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Yaya Toure is ready to leave Manchester City for Roberto Mancini’s Inter in July.

Today’s front page of the popular Italian sports paper says that the Ivory Coast international has already given the all-clear to reduce his wages to €3m plus add-ons if the two clubs can reach an agreement.

It would reunite Toure with ex-City manager Mancini, who is completely revamping the squad at San Siro.

He has already brought in Xherdan Shaqiri and Lukas Podolski during the January transfer window, while Marcelo Brozovic is expected to complete his move from Dinamo Zagreb this weekend.

Yaya Touré will be 32 by the end of the season and his contract with Manchester City is due to expire in June 2017.

La Gazzetta therefore maintains his transfer fee would be a thoroughly affordable €9m.

He joined from Barcelona in 2010, requested by then-manager Mancini.

The midfielder already cast doubt over his future last year when he claimed the club “disrespected” him by not celebrating his birthday.

one interesting thing to note is how readily mourinho gives up on players, including those he has brought in quite recently, and then flips them into someone else.

mata, schurrle, salah.

i do believe he knows so many players fancy playing for chelsea so he can do so, while we've had either a harder time moving players we regretted signing, or decided to hold into them for other reasons.

Its interesting that Chelsea can sell/flip their players so easily but it doesnt seem like other good clubs are that interested in very many of City's players.

fair point. the3 reality is we haven't really signed anyone of late that is seen as valuable enough to good clubs.

however, by holding onto players we may also ave shot ourselves in the foot.

we probably could have gotten a decent fee for nasti had we sold him sooner.
