Lawro's opponent for this weekend's Premier League fixtures is actor Benedict Wong, who plays Mongol ruler Kublai Khan in Netflix's new TV adventure series Marco Polo.
Eccles-born Wong grew up in Salford supporting Manchester United and says his favourite players were Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.
"They were the two players in midfield that drove the team to so much success," he told BBC Sport.
These days, Wong enjoys watching United's all-star attack but feels the rest of the team needs some strengthening before they can think about challenging for the title again.
"Christmas is coming up so I have written to Santa and asked for a few more defenders," he added. "Get it right there and we might have it all.
"Can we push for the title this season? No, let's just get third place and get back in the Champions League. Then we can push on from there."
I spoke a couple of weeks ago about how much of a lift Manchester City would get from beating Bayern Munich, and that boost is evident from their last few results - they have won four out of four since that night.

The acid test of that resurgence came with their win at Roma on Wednesday night, which was even more impressive considering they did it without the injured Sergio Aguero.
But I think a few other members of that City team have woken up and started to show again what good players they are.
Leicester, meanwhile, are in a mess with just two points from their last 10 games.
They are a classic case of a team who are not only playing badly, but also making individual errors that are being punished.

Man City are rolling now and they’ll be flying high after Wednesday night’s win in Rome. They’ve had some good results recently – I think that’s four league wins on the spin – so I’m going to go with City. I was disappointed with Leicester at Villa last week. I didn’t think they were very good at all. This just shows how hard this league is and it’s going to be an 11th game without a win, I’m afraid. Nigel Pearson’s side just need a bit of luck – if they can, the luck Man United are having they would be fine.
