I've been working abroad this week and due to a series of cock ups with flights I am still here with just my phone. I'm not expecting to be back until Sunday, so I won't have chance to edit the gems of wisdom of the Home fans this week. I have been keeping an eye on their pre match thread, and they are a pretty depressed bunch! The link is below, if you want to check it out. The good news is that the game is being broadcast here so I should at least get to see it.
I'm still smiling from Wednesday, and I have only seen the goals so far.
COME ON CITY !!!

Not optimistic are they?
"If we beat Man City, I shall sit in my under garments, in the centre circle at half time on Boxing Day reciting poetry by Kipling whilst sipping a brandy."

This has a 1-0 scrappy win all over it after our European high. Can't see them getting the hammering they are fearing.

We've played a hell of a lot of football lately so Im hoping we rotate a bit tomorrow for fresh legs, & Id take any kind of a win as well. Not a day for flash footy Id wager and we simply need the points.

I don't recall us every being that negative when we were struggling under Ball or Doyle or (insert anyone of about 50 names). We'd go away to Arsenal and is convince myself we'd do OK as long as Tiatto had a good game. 10 minutes in when he'd been sent off, I'd suspect we weren't getting all 3 points, but I've never give into a game thinking it wasn't with turning up. Especially at home.
From our point of view, I'd take any win right now. If we play well and if they go to sleep, we could batter them. But if we look tired, they look organised, up for it and aggressive, they could nick something.
Hopefully, we'll start like we did against Southampton, but get a few more goals early on, so we can rest players later.
