Jovetic has a slight muscle problem and is being rested as a precaution apparently. Maybe I'm being unfair but he seems like a player who wants to feel absolutely right before he plays . That's just not realistic when most players are playing with this or that twinge or niggle pretty well all the time. If this goes on we'll have to shift him to be honest. It's a great pity because he's a very good player.

Update Dzeko injured in the warm up and out. Pozo on. This can't go on.

Ans hes quite right to be cautious.......we can ill afford to have another long term injury.
Pozo will do just fine.

Yes I agree. Not sure he likes to be in the firing line week in and week out. These niggling injuries seem a bit of a mystery.

not happy with Silva starting.
we should be able to beat Leicester without him (and Dzeko, Jovetic, and Aguero). i would've preferred he stayed on the bench and got more time off.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

Ian Cheeseman says 'very slight muscle problem' for Jovetic. What happens if Pozo gets injured? We're ridiculously short of fit strikers for a top Premiership team. Of course we should beat Leicester anyway but the situation is worrying. Yaya or Lampard to score hopefully, maybe both!

Drinkwater is the best name ever. Right up there with Whitehead.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

No Kidding. Someone could at least moan about how poor we are in attack, and how solid at the back we are -
anything.
I know it's 0-0, but someone must be watching.

Yaya's looking lively, I think that enforced rest has done him good.

Mangala had a couple of good tackles early on. Had one odd decision that he got away with.
We need to create more chances with our possession.
