That's got to be the mark of champions.

I hope Brenda Rodgers is watching this game, as an instructive example of how to play with no forwards.

Mind you, Loserpool were only playing the Scum, whilst we've had to contend with Palace who are a far better team.

Good win again today.I make that 8 wins in a row, nearly forgot we were on a winning streak I've heard so much about the rags winning run of 6 games.

That was a fucking great result.
Other teams have got to be shitting themselves at the thought of playing city.

Not bad for a one man team. Also, Pulis isn't wearing a single piece of BT kit as a 'studio' (or pitch side) pundit, I'm disappointed in him.

Kolarov proving today why he's our first choice LB when fit (don't have a cry twodicks). Brilliant from the best dressed City player as usual.

I thought he was garbage at times and didnt seem to get involved in alot of the one touch play (fair play he put a few good crosses in)

clichy is our first choice LB by a country mile and has been since we signed him IMO

Quality all round performance and again hard to think of one player who didn't play well. A few slightly hairy moments at the back and of course that big slice of luck with the disallowed goal but I felt Mangala and MDM did well.

Midfield and attacking the 3 main men, Yaya,Nasri and Silva, showed great control touch and passing and although Milner is anything but a front man you had to applaud the effort he put in as usual in giving the centre backs something to think about. But we have the added quality of 2 of the best attacking full backs in the prem. Zaba has improved so much with the timing and intelligence of his runs and is now a massive threat as he he gets in behind defences.Kolarov doesn't bother too much with all that but just whips great balls across and first time before defences get set.

The one thing we probably lack most of the time is shooting ability from 20/25 yards.Frank would have scored from there if we had really needed one today.

A little disappointed Ambrose didn't get a few minutes on the pitch. Would have seemed a nice touch but instead we get Sinclair who clearly isn't part of the future. All he managed to do was run offside when Fernando had that break on.I am sure Pellers will have had his reasons

Actually , if Fernando had played the ball when he should have done, Sinclair would have been in on goal...as it happened, Fernando delayed it too long and eventually ran into the defender.

Is Clichy genuinely out first choice and has been for the past few seasons? Cause Kolarov tinted glasses off I definitely believe Kola was our first choice left back last season. Someone put a stat up where he had loads of assists compared to Clichy who either had zero or it wasn't even worth counting the amount he had.

Probably connected with Clichy being a fullback & Kolarov a wingback.

City did superbly well today. Especially 2nd half when we passed it brilliantly around their box. Pity Ambrose didn't get on.

Great from Nasri; miles better than Silva imo apart from the goals. Milner did a fantastic, unselfish job dragging their defenders around & still got an assist.

Difficult game. Job done. Excellent.

I'd take that, if it wasn't for the fact Zaba is also a "fullback" but he gets forward and assists as well.

The problem is that Made doesn't either and what he'd like to have against him is a raging boner while Aleks dons his vest and flat cap.

Cheers
