City Hamburg?

Postby blues2win » Mon Dec 22, 2014 9:47 pm

Hamburg website says City will be playing Hamburg in Abu Dhabi on January 21. FA Cup fourth round is on weekend of 24 so it's possible.

Never liked the idea of playing totally meaningless games mid season.
Sheer madness.

He who pays the piper plays the tune I'm afraid. For all our fantastic owners do for us we can hardly complain.

THE THING IS, WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GET A COUPLE OF OUR PLATERS INJURED, WE SHOULD JUST STAY AT HOME AND LET THE PLAYERS HAVE A FEW DAYS OFF INBETWEEN GAMES, MUCH BETTER FOR US THEN HAVING TO PLAY A GAME AGAINST HAMBURG

This will be a stroll around and nothing more, hamburg dont want anyone injured either, its an exhibition game where many players will be given a run out and some well earned sun for our boys whilst we recharge the batteries

the full squad + a few of the kids like Barker and Celina. Some of the main team will probably get a good rest but I expect Aguero,Dzeko and Kompany will definitely play as they need match practice. Beyond that I hope 2 or 3 of the young lads get a real run out.

I don't think anyone from today's squad deserves a holiday in the sun so I'd make all of them run until they vomit meanwhile we take the kids + subs from today and other squad members for a few days in AD

id like to see Kompany and Dzeko get the match practice vs Boro…not in this bogus fixture

I disagree. give them match practice in friendlies, not where they can harm our chances of winning cups. I'd also start Sergio on weds
