Yesterday I said to the Mrs and son, "Milner is our Ferenc Puskas. Mrs says "eh" and following the explanation demands "how can we be expected to know about a game in 1953?". To which son age 26 replies"everyone has heard of Puskas" Heartwarming, as was watching City yesterday.As for the ballet on ice it was more remarkable watching from the stand than on the tele where the goals don't appear as good as they did there when you could see how hard it was just to run. No surprise that Venables didn't fancy it. Again.Watching buzzer there, surely he could coach that bugger Navas to gain a foot and cross in the same movement.
