This Weeks Other Games | Boxing Day

Postby Beefymcfc » Fri Dec 26, 2014 11:52 am

We don't get this often but every game on the same day means we get a clear sight of the table at the halfway point in the season. The first game of the day looks an interesting one and with West Hams form could they have a chance at the Bridge. Maureen has already come out praising Fat Sam, saying he should be made manager of the season if they make top 4 but is he just playing his little mind games after his rant last year?

The other decent fixture has got to be the Rags v Toon. They've both got very brittle defences and can both score goals so we could see a goal-fest. Now I've said that, it'll probably be the most boring 0-0, ever.

We finish off with the Arse v QPR game, a game where the Arse need to win and QPR need not to lose. I just can't see QPR getting anything from this one and I've even put Sanchez as my FFT captain as I feel QPR will be saving themselves for the Palace game 2 days later.

A full roster today and fingers crossed we make up more ground on Chelsea. I suppose it will all come down to who ate more turkey and pigs in blankets. My money's on Fat Sam.

BOXING DAY GAMES

Chavs v West Ham 12:45
Burnley v Dippers 15:00
Crystal Palace v Southampton 15:00
Everton v Stoke 15:00
Leicester v Tottenham 15:00
Rags v Newcastle 15:00
Sunderland v Hull 15:00
Swansea v Aston Villa 15:00
West Brom v Man City 15:00
Arsenal v QPR 17:30

Mourinho forgot his lesson from the Ferguson Manual Of Cuntish Management: moan about the ref post game , not the jouneyman manager.

Be nice to journeyman managers, then they will be nice to you. Buy them a bottle of wine, phone them to tell them how well they are doing, ask them if they need any help, loan them players (they will buy them off you for 4 times their value) & they will turn up full of respect & admiration, & lose.

NEVER piss them off, as they may try to beat you.

Mourinho trying to put it right.

To be fair to fat sam, he beat the rags twice (I think (with Bolton)) at the theatre of desperation, so I don't think there's any getting on the right side of him.

Fuck me, the amount of goals they score from corners is silly. And we get tons of corners, but I cant remember the last time we scored from one...

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

Hammers haven't got a chance here. Valencia looks like a chicken with no head and they're not going to get anything just lumping it to Carroll.

Shame.

West Ham were excellent when they beat us I thought, it was totally deserved.

So far Chelsea are just too good. It took a corner for the goal but it was inevitable they would score anyway. I don't think West Ham have a hope in this game, Chelsea will probably score another and just shut down for another 2-0 win. I know everyone gets pissed off with Mourinho but I think hes brilliant. I wouldn't swap him for Pelligrini but he basically guarantees success.

Apparently Pelligrini said we need 87 points this year? If he did then hes wrong, Chelsea will get 90+ and we need to do better than that to win the league.

They have a bunch of tall players and great delivery from corners. We have mostly small guys with poor corners . I think 70 % dont go past first player or first post of our corners.

Noble's a fucking liability, giving the ball away at every opportunity and doing nothing defensively or in attack. BFS will be fuming with this performance.

Ivanovich going down before he's even touched. I can't stand Maureen's teams.
