Aguero's Knee

Sergio Aguero could return as early as January 10 against Everton as his recover from a knee injury speeds ahead.

The Argentinian ace was in incredible form before he picked up the problem against the Toffees on December 6.

The 19-goal-forward was expected to be out until the second half of January, but Mirror Sport has learned that he is ahead of schedule.

Yeah no need to rush him back for Everton ... Goodison is a tough away ground but they aren't in great form and we should be able to get 3 points here without risking (rushing) Aguero back ... have him in the bench and give him a half hour against Arsenal at home and have him ready for Chelsea away by end of Jan ... that and then of course Barca at home in Feb are bigger games where I'd like us to have him back.

That report is cut from the Mirror so I would nt give it any credibility at all.

I opened this thread fully expecting to read about a theoretical problem along the lines of Schrodinger's cat, with or without the umlaut. Ah, well....

You're thinking of the Jovetic Paradox, where you cab be fit and injured at the same time

They robbed it from somewhere else. It was circulating last Tuesday or Wednesday on various sites via newsnow

Very good.

But then can Jovetic be counted as one of the substitutes, until he actually goes on the pitch ?

this. we prob shouldn't play him until the Chelsea match. if we do, it should only be for 10-15 minutes in the match before Chelsea.
def not Jan 10.

We can't be certain if he's either fit or injured if he can't be located.
