And we were supposed to have the easy Christmas/New Year period ... They fucked up against a good Southampton team, away from home ... what do we do, fuck it at home and against a relegation-threatened just-promoted side ...

And it ain't going to get any easier for us ... this is where we needed to get those two points on them ... FUCK!!

Every single bit of his body was in an offside position.

However, that isnt the reason we drew today. (Although it helped)

This is kind of a side point but its just something that popped up in my head during the game.

I really want it to happen for Jovetic - he's talented, tries, works hard and could be great but, and i know this sounds harsh seeing as its his first game back from an injury, i do get the impression that it just won't 'happen' for him at City. I dunno why, he just doesn't seem part of the squad yet. It's like he comes on and doesn't really have a role; he looks like an outsider still trying to establish himself and its been an awful long time now that he's been at the club and i just don't know if he'll ever fit in.

I just can't imagine a scenario where he'll find a spot in the team consistently. Hope i'm wrong but his situation does worry me slightly.

Pellegrini saying Yaya had small muscle injury but has a chance for Sunderland game contrary to OS which said he was rested. Prefer it if he had a bigger one and was out for three weeks, missing the fucking ACON.

It was pretty influential due to the timing. We still should have done better, but that was a really key point in the game & set the tone for tge 2nd half.

I sit at the side & was calmly expecting to see it chalked off..

Ah well, it happens. We've been shit before and we shall be shit again.

The optimist in me says that neither the rags or Chelski won today either, so we've lost no ground. No excuses of course, but if you'd asked 10 games ago would we take nine wins and a draw against Burnley I suspect most people would say yes.

On way home from the Etihad , can't be arsed going into the city center for beers , worst 2nd half performance from any City side I have witnessed in possibly 4 or 5 years when the game was won and over at half time . Kolarov was abismal from start to finish ....... shocking performance from him and where was Yaya when we needed him ? the whole of the home crowd was mystified in his no show ??? shit day all round !!!
Not really here

I thought it was a very good 1st half followed by a 2nd half which looked like they were told to conserve energy. Either that or they were fucked.

Personally, I thought giving Yaya a day off was wrong (unless injured) as he only played 60 minutes last time out and can always be utilised. That decision left just one of our real star players which left us exposed during the 2nd half as Yaya would usually take the heat from players and play the ball around.

Fair play to Burnley though, they got a bit of luck and then moved on from there, having chances to win it in the end.

Completely underwhelmed with the whole thing today and thought Pellers got it all wrong. We still should've beat Burnley though and the way we through it away leaves me thinking that we just planned to have a chilled out second half, believing Burnley were done.

I wouldn't be looking at a keeper for the loss today.

I never feel comfortable against Sunderland over the festive period, not sure why.

Can anybody tell me why Yaya was left out of the squad, why bring on a half fit Jovetic for a non-stop Milner, Lampard for a ball playing Nasri and Scott Sinclair for anything other than a joke?

Pathetic second half display against the worst side I have seen all season.

The league is not lost in December but that was a real chance to put the pressure on Maureen.

Need to put it right against the team we have failed to beat for the last two seasons at home.

Easy!
