Couldn't have put it better myself. Lads that watched the game on the box have said mangala had a bad game. From the ground I thought he played ok, and like you say, had to cover kolorov CONSTANTLY.

Its kolorov's attitude that winds me up so much.

Against Palace for most of the game he got involved in none of the forward play. He seems like the odd one out and its as if the players don't like him.

At first I thought Nick is just fishing but after his reply I think he probably is just even more drunk than I am atm and will tomorrow realise this was just one of his bad days. And when he is bad he is awful.

But a week ago, when he had a good game. did you want him out then as well?

He's far from perfect but he's just the boo boy of the day now that Lescott is gone IMHO.

Hart is my usual boo boy actually. Joking aside; kolorov and hart are two people we could replace to strengthen the team.

Only last week at Palace he was causing their defence all types of trouble and we had posters calling him the best crosser of a ball in the league.
He was a huge part of our great attacking side last season and bar today has done well this season.
He had a shocker today, yes. But he's still by far and away the best crosser we have who's supplied lots of goals (not just talking about assists, but rebounds, second balls etc) for us and this thread is totally ridiculous.

Right now Clichy is on fire but overall during past couple of years imo Clichy has been marginally better defensively, while Kolarov has offered a lot more in attack.

If you ask me which one should start, a lot depends on how we set up and how pacey the wingback on our oppo's right side is

This was his second match back after months of injury!! I'd be very surprised if he was legging all over the show as he's most likely nowhere near 100% fit. Last week some of you were creaming your knicks at the ball he put in for the goal. Chill the fuck out! He wasn't the reason we lost today!

Fair post, but clichy is a player that gets better with games. He's proven that. He turns to shit when we 'rest him'/play kolorov.

He'll be a shoe in to start the sunderland game now and will probably turn to shit....

I'd start with replacing Nasri with a more direct, Hazard-esque player but LB position is also something where we could improve. Not easy to get improvement on the keeper department either. I'd take Neuer in a heartbeat but who else?
