Real Sociedad 1 Barcelona 0. Agent Moyes beats Spain's very own Moyes Luis Enrique who surely can't be long for this world. If ever there was a time to play Barcelona its this season. Despite the firepower up front they're shit at the back. No excuses City. This is our moment.

Looking at that surprising result, the game looks as though it was a free-scoring 'goalfest'.
Moyes will have to be very careful from now on; he's running the risk of becoming both exciting and successful in Spain.

Luis put both Messi and Neymar on after 56 minutes. They had some good pressure on Real Sociedad in the last 15-20 minutes of the game, but failed to score.
Won a measly bet on Real winning tonight; Should have opted for a larger sum. Oh well.

My goodness.
That seems so abysmally typical of the man and the sides he produces. If someone were to mention the word 'flair' to him, he'd probably think they were referring to 1970s trouser styles.

Real Madrid also lost, this must be a rare weekend in Spain. Two games short of the world record, 22 games won in a row and they blow it, at least they didn't tie the record and then draw with fucking Burnley at home.

I remember a similar thing from Big Sam's Bolton against City under Keegan, I think we hit the bar/post about 5 times too.

Yep, Penalty by Dunney handball late on, not one shot on target until that point(or after, I believe penalties don't count as a shot on target).
Sibs and Chris must have been drunk by the end, they were hitting the bar pretty hard.

Two things about that game.
1 Sociedad were 'ok' defensively but not brilliant & had no threat whatsoever going forward.
2 Barca were fucking shite.
But it was funny to see Moyes inflict his game on La Liga. Some on here suck the dick of that league, whereas some of us, although apreciating the brilliance sometimes seen in abundance during Barca/Real games, have long been of the opinion that those sides would not win every week in the Prem. That they would get worked out & have points taken from them when they didn't expect it. Today was just a shit Everton, beating Barca. Moyes' best boring Everton team, would have dicked them 3/4 nil, on corners.
Time we stopped being inferior to these cunts & showed them our proper game, rather than the scared version.

Was that the game Sibierski hit the bar three times with the same header?
Wasn't it Boro who beat us 1-0 with a Sun Jihai own goal and no other shots on target?

. . .this is all part of the next phase of Agent Moyes' assignment ; he gets exciting and successfull in Spain, he gets the Real or Barca jobs , and then . . . .

I remember the Bolton game well because of the woodwork being rattled so often. I think the game in question is actually West Brom at home with the long punt from their keeper to nobody up front and the ball hit Dunne and deflected it past the keeper (james???)

That was the 1-1. And Earnshaw rabbited after the ball trying to claim the goal and ended up in the back of the net with the ball.

Can people stop mentioning Sibierski ?
It's part of my life I'm trying to put behind me.

Wasn't he described as a free scoring midfielder? Bit like Kare Ingebritsen. Both assessments couldn't have been more untrue than saying a 19 year old winger from Exeter would be footballs first £10m man
