He’s scored for the Under 21s today in a 4-0 drubbing of Everton ( so far!).

Borges only plays EDS now.

I actually got to see both the 18's v Lpool followed immediately by the EDS v Everton.

The 18's beat LPool comprehensively. A very early goal from Oboavwodou and another before half time from Harrison. They came out sloppy in the 2nd half and gave away a poor goal but a breakaway from a corner saw sub Ogwuru score and a very late on finished it off. Unusually we were a physically bigger side than LPool.

For the EDS it was different as it seemed Everton fielded a team of really big lads. For a while it was tough going and we came very close but couldnt quite score. We should have had a penalty when Mebude was brought down but amazingly the ref said no but the ball was recycled and Mebude got up in time to be at the far post to score right on half time..

The 2nd half was one sided and goals from Borges, Dickson, Adam and an OG finished them off. Worth watching the highlights as the goals by Borges and Dickson were quality..

Man of the match for me was Bobb with Mebude not far behind. Bobb is a delight to watch on the ball and fast becoming the most likely from this group to get a look at some first team minutes. He's developed very well in the last 3 years showing great confidence and skill on the ball. Pacey too. He even had a go at left back when the full back had to go off anf he handled that very well too

Comfy win with some very good play . Borges inevitably involved in 2 goals and Bobb in 3. didnt like the way we got a bit sloppy 2nd half and deserved to concede a goal.

Our exit from UEFA league was as corrupt as it gets - Burns sent off for being attacked .

but he was stupid as he had already been booked when he reacted. Dont think it had any bearing on the result either.

Excellent result: some top goals as well. Follows a 4-0 win by the U18s yesterday too.

Also former first teamer brandon williams, who was utter shite for City’s fifth.

A wonderful day’s work from the young Blues. Have it you rag bastards.

What a crazy game. We were ripping Utd to pieces when they had 11 players and they then lose a player, take off 2 attackers and bring on Tom Huddlestone while deciding to play for the we " we held on to 3 down " trophy.

City didnt go for the throat but just played the ball around and for a while and it was looking a bit like we wouldn't score again. But once the 4th went in the rags lost it again so we got two more. All that and we left our most potent player, Borges, on the bench.

Didn’t realise Doug was back. Good to see you and probably need to visit the EDS thread a little more.

Saying that, a busy period but need to get on here a little more.
