We're trailing 0-2, not long to go to half time.

The 0-2 was harsh result wasn't it. Saw most of the both games and how we didn't score I do not know. Even if he didn't quite provide the goods I love to watch Sancho. Fingers crossed he'll stay healthy and keeps developing

Didn't think we were at it today against a very good Barca side. They dominated the ball and although we tried to press high they got out all the time. We did force some mistakes but jusy seemed to follow that with one of our own as we gave the ball back. For some reason , mostly how tight Barca were getting , we just didn't have the required first touch control and so much just broke down.

I thought we came out better in the 2nd half with Brahim playing deeper and whilst we threatened quite a lot the final pass/shot was just wrong too often. Brahim and Sancho very ineffective I thought compared to what I know they are capable of. Quite how we didn't score in the end only Nmecha will know esrecially when he hit the post with just the keeper to beat.3 times he was in that position. Once the post once he hit the keeper and the other went in but he was offside.

big learning game for the boys but we will still surely qualify

It seems the u18s beat Wolves 6-1 and are now clear at the top of the table.

J Hardy seems to have had a good game. On the field for an hour, scored three and assisted two.

Got to love Joe Hardy. Started the season in the team and then got pushed out when Gonzalez got international clearance and then again when Nmecha needed a game but every time has played he has done the business. Really hard working, strong running player. Leads the line well , score goals and yes if required tracks back!

Just seen that Ambrose is finally nearing return. For people more in the know, what do you re kon his chances are? Remember him being very promising a couple of years back, but he's been out so long maybe he's missed the boat a bit?

He is a good player. Been out for quite a while but when he was fit he was excellent. Will have to see how he comes back as it's been a while.

Tis such a tough question. As WW says he is a good player and I had him as one of those maybes for making it at City. He will be quality somewhere but just not easy to know the level and especially so as he has missed so much football. he did get into the first team squad 2 years ago didn't he ( was that just pre season I can't remember) which says something. Can't wait to see him back out playing and see how he compares now to Nmecha.

Boadu if he hadn't missed two years might well have been a sensation now and who knows how he will be when he returns. I might be a bit OTT there making him better than he actually was but he's a tall strong lad, fabulous technical skills and loved to take people on from midfield. Not really like Diaz or Sancho who are very special dribblers but more in a driving midfield style.Good eye for goal too and I hope he plays sooner rather than later.

Faceybook. I'm a bit surprised that no one else has commented on it. Maybe they were too busy watching the Pommy's play as badly in the last 5 minutes as Ozland played all game against Thailand.

Ah! I'm on my mini iPad at the moment. No way I'm going to dip into Faecesbook with that at this time of night.
