Also, U21 derby at the etihad on Saturday. Going to that, but not got high hopes of winning tbh
Ha I said one nil but it was actually 1.1.Must have been dreaming. Still can't work out how we didn't win easily but I can see how the scum are at the bottom of the league.
The 21's game will be interesting as we won't have a strong side out with key names with the first team. Hopefully a great opportunity for a few younger ones which might even be beneficial to us.

What time is the derby.
Interesting to see how young are the team we put out.
Give us an idea of who will be in the squad for tomorrow.

City won 1-0. Smith-Brown scoring from the edge of the box. Better fight than ten days ago. Deserved the win.

Always good to hear of these things. Has Twosips gone on holiday lately? Not heard much from him, thought he would have been all over this

Poor old Zuculini has broken his foot so his loan spell at AEK Athens has come to an end. Back to Manchester for treatment.

He should get home as he'll be no good for AEK with his injury

Just a quick question about Celina, always gets raved about but everytime I see him play he looks a bit sheepish.
I don't watch any of the kids games live unless they're on tv so it's a big game, genuine question, is he a bit of a bottler/shy lad?
Thanks

The commentator for the Chelsea game described him as one of the brightest talents at the club which baffled me to be honest. I don't see a future at City for him, the only thing that has ever impressed me about him is his ability with free kicks.

From what I've seen he tends to drift in and out of games but has moments of real quality.

Sadly, although he does have plenty of talent,I don't see Celina making it at the top top level. It is a shame he very often gets played out of position either wide or as a gentre forward when he clearly needs to be in a central midfield role. I tend to agree that he drifts out of games but there is no doubt he has quality when he is on the ball both in creating and scoring goals. And not just free kicks although he is awesome at those.
Maybe I am being a bit premature but in the tough, tight games he just doesn't shine enough

Quick question for those who follow the U18's and have for a few years....
Martin Samuelsen, any good? He's now with West Ham and on loan at peterborough.
He's been gobbing off in Norwegian press about the ego's if the coaching staff and how they struggle when individual players are stealing attention from the collective and their philosophy...
Sounds like a right gobby little 18yr old who knows better than the whole world?
So is he that great a player???

Remarked about him in their FA Cup replay defeat to WBA. Thought he looked decent.
Probably their best player over the 120 minutes. He then had the bottle to take one of the penalties......but missed.
I think it was Doug who said City let him go to West Ham. We didn't renew his contract.
He certainly didn't look out of place against Premiership opposition.
