I see Dilrosun has signed for Hertha Berlin. Can’t keep most of them of course. How good was he Doug?

A decent player that will have some games where you think this lad is really good and others where he is quite inneffective. Left winger basically, very one footed, reasonably quick, probably doesn't score enough. Not a player who will make it at the top level but he will be a good pro I expect in a top division abroad.

One of so many City players in that bracket

Also scored a penalty in the opening game as well. Been learning from Yaya?

See Brandon Barker has also gone on a loan to Preston. Had high hopes for him a few years ago. Just didn’t happen for him for whatever reason.

D'Margio Wright-Phillips scored one, it was Henri Ogunby who got a hat-trick.

No. Must've missed it.

But Tyler held it up as an example of defending for City and Arsenal during yesterday's game.

Seen we've been drawn with Crewe, Shrewsbury and Tranmere in the EFL Trophy. First game away to Shrewsbury on 4th September

Only managed to get to my first "kids" game on Saturday and even that only the first half as its cricket season. Hardly knew any on the 18's as we push the real 18's to the EDS and blood real kids.

They were 2 nil down to Blackburn when i left and we lost 2 nil. Fairly even sort of game but they scored their chances and we didn't. Will get to know more when I see more. I have heard they play Wolves on Friday at 1 so hope to make that one.

The EDS after beating the Arse 6.5 have now beaten WHU 6.4 away!!! WTF?

And another hat trick for Nabil Touazi which is some going. Not sure whats going on with the defence but can't wait to see them in action soon. New manager too so need to find out about him as well

6-5 and 6-4. Do we play a 4-0-6 formation?

Sounds like great entertainment though

Was reading some of the reports about Touazi on BM. Quite a few think he’s pretty good and a real prospect.
Twosips likes the look of him.

I think I watched the first game he played with Twosips and we were both impressed. Seems to have pretty well evrything you want in a striker and maybe we will start seeing it bigtime this season albeai at EDS level. Tonight's game v Liverpool will probably be a good test and I can get a good look at our defence if we decide to play one tonight.

Just back from watching the 18's beat Wolves 6 nil this morning. That's two 6 nil wins and a defeat in the middle from the first 3 games! Very comprehensive it was too. Bit scrappy initially, a lucky bounce for Simmonds to sweep in and then we were all over them and could have scored 10!

Perhaps a bit early to pick individuals out and I would say nobody totally stood out. I like the captain Rowan McDonald who played holding midfield before slipping into center back for the last 20. That allowed Joe Hodge to come on in the holding role. He's about 2 foot 6 and I think played the first half with the under 16's before coming across for the 2nd half. Looked pretty good too.

Also coming on as sub was James McAtee who I have heard good things about. He's 15 I think and a slip of a lad. Bit like Foden when I first saw him. Moves like him as well and is left footed so I will be watching him very closely.
