This Weeks Other Games | 17-19 Jan 15

Postby Moonchesteri » Sat Jan 17, 2015 12:30 pm

Today

No early kick off but there is a duel of two clueless managers going on in the Championship, Derby v Forest. McClaren looks like he has a hangover.

Aston Villa v Liverpool 15:00
Burnley v Crystal Palace 15:00
Leicester v Stoke 15:00
QPR v rags 15:00
Swansea v Chelsea 15:00
Spurs v Sunderland 15:00
Newcastle v Southampton 17:30

Sunday
West Ham v Hull 13:30
Manchester City v Arsenal 16:00

Monday
Everton v West Brom 20:00

Shame that out of today's games I find the last one most interesting, but that's the one I will miss.
Elsewhere, a round of home wins only would do nicely and this is a week where every away team has a job to do if they do want three points.

I agree.

I feel he may possibly be a perfectly good defensive coach, but he thinks he is a manager, which he isn't. Strangely enough, contrary to all evidence, for some reason there are others who also believe he is a manager.

Jesus, that may keep him in a job too.

Could be a bad day for Forest.

Looking forward to the games today and will definately be keeping an eye on the Rags & Chav's games as I can see QPR getting something whilst Swansea should at least give Chelsea a game. Shame that Villa are so shit because I'd have loved to see the Dippers fall further behind.

The most interesting game for me though is the Toon v Saints. Newcastle haven't been great of late and if the Saints can get the win, which I think they can, then it'll really put pressure on those vying for the Wenger Trophy.

And if Spurs win today, they too can put pressure on, jumping the Arse before they come to ours tomorrow.

Well done to Forest, coming back from 1-0 to take the game.

I wonder if Beanie was left in the dressing room.

Well you cursed Swansea then, didn't you?

As for the dippers, I'm now cheering them on again, as I can only see them and Arsenal keeping the rags out of the top 4 over a full season

Nice little far post header for Ben Mee there. Good lad. And from Trippier's corner.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

They are aren't they, fucking dreadful, totally devoid of ideas and fight. QPR have a chance here, but they need to take it, as I can't see the rags being this bad throughout the game

Unfortunately they seem to be lulling teams into playing even worse than them. FFS!! I hope we are going to get some money back from Swansea for this fucking pathetic display!!

Did I just hear the commentator say "that's brilliant football from the premier league champions" when Chelsea scored?
Surely not. Though wasn't it around this time of the year when Liverpool had already won the title?
