League Cup Semi Finals 2nd Leg | 27-28 Jan 15

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

League Cup Semi Finals 2nd Leg | 27-28 Jan 15

Postby Beefymcfc » Tue Jan 20, 2015 7:42 pm

Not sure who I want to win tonight but I do hope they run each other ragged, get lots of injuries and lots of red cards. As for the Spuds, it maybe the only time I'll ever say 'Come On United'!

Tonight

Dippers v Chav's 1945 hrs

Tomorrow

Spurs v Sheff Utd 1945 hrs

PS. And now there's snow. Hopefully it'll put the Dipper candles out.

Edited to reflect the 2nd leg.

Not in the LC, that's only in the FA Cup. I think.

Some good football by Liverpool but just not getting people in or around their 6 yard box.

A few have sussed out how to play the Chav's but keeping it down and playing football when they get to the final 3rd. Cahill & Terry don't like it and much prefer the overhead threat.

Another penalty where there is minimal contact and more the player running into the defender and throwing himself to the floor.

Never guess which team would do that?

And then, Gerard takes the ball away from a Chav player who takes a second or two to go down and try and fool the ref again.

Cheating Chav Twats!

I'm sure I heard Brenda say that if they go on and win this cup, they can push on to one of their historical runs of winning trophies.

Remind me when that last was Brenda?

this is true yet i still hate it. Watch the slow-mo of that "foul" and it's clear as day that Hazard has flung himself to the floor to really initiate the contact.

Does a cunt like that practice that move? Can't believe that as a footballer you can learn it that well unless you truly spend the time on that move.

Cheers

He's just done it again in the centre circle. Stopped dead knowing that Lucas has no choice to run in to him and then screams and winces like a baby who's just been hit by a bulldozer.

Hate the cheating twats.

If it's a draw does it go straight to a replay? Like to see matches pile up for Chelsea.

Another team of cheating cunts these chavs are.

Dippers used to have suarez, who was obviously one of the worst cheats the premier league has ever seen... but mourinho and baconface really did instill their nasty character into their teams.

Hazard and costa have been trying to con the ref continuously.

It's over 2 legs and if no winner it goes to away goals and then if still level it goes to penalties. They change so often though, I could be wrong.

No point in being thick unless you show it.
I should have known it was two legs.
Sorry....

2 legs.
If aggregate score is even after the 2nd leg (away goals do NOT count at this stage), extra time will be played.

If the game is still level at the end of extra time, away goals WILL count.

If the away goals are even as well, penalties.

Hasn't it been like this for ages?

Quite a while now but with all the comps we're in it's hard to keep track ;-)

Yes. As I replied to Beefy, I should have copped that myself. Not watching it as wife is on the computer. Just following it on Sky Sports News now.

Good goal by Sterling. Maureen told his players to hold out and take the win, maybe getting another on the break but the Dippers hard work, especially Sterling's dribble, has brought them back into it.

Keep the Chav's on their toes for the 2nd leg if it stays like this but I can see them falling at every opportunity to ensure they don't lose it.
