If I was the manager tonight

I would be at Stamford Bridge watching Saturdays opponents and not at a questions and answers promotional night for a mobile media company.

I would be calling the FA first thing in the morning inquiring about retrospective action on Costa ... but that's for tomorrow morning ...

Tonight I'd be telling my media people to call up every single press reporter on their list and promise them access to me before and after the Chelsea game if they cover tonight's games on 'all' angles (angles on two stamps and Gerard pull and punch that is) and make sure it's all over the back (and front pages) tomorrow morning so FA can't duck out of it ...

Then I'd gather the team tomorrow and show them the video of Chelsea's last two games (Bradford and Liverpool's first leg) and then show them our last two games (no not Hamburg one, Arsenal and Middlesbrough ... and maybe throw in Burnley second half) and ask them to go figure what they need to do Saturday.

It's so blatant that we need to find a little pace in our attacks and get at their back line and not try to tippy tappy go forward, go back, go side, go back, and eventually trying to walk the ball in ...

Oh, and I'd already have called Khaldoon to make sure a private jet is already in Africa wherever the fuck Ivory Coast is playing to bring back Bony and Yaya straight off the ground after their game (of course their FA would have been paid of in Dirhams by now and told what result is required tomorrow) ...

But I'm afraid I'm not the manager and Pellegrini on current form isn't inspiring a lot :(

Oh and one more ... I'd be telling the city fans travelling this Saturday that if that cunt (Costa) gets away without a ban and plays against us and if he even blows thin air around Aguero or Silva then they should run on to the pitch and make sure he knows what a stamp feels ... trust me, his face will still look the same even if 10 or 20 off fans kicked or stamped on him 'by genuine mistake'

I've always thought managers turning up to other games was some great shifty way of getting to see games fot nowt. Seriously they don't even take notes it's just a cheap night out haha.

You're spot on me thinks.

Take away their free ticket, the prawn sandwich and red vino and the only manager you'll ever see in the stands is Stuart Pearce.

MP will probably watch a recording of the Chrlsea game on telly today, with the squad. I hope the dippers still lose.

I would be telling our strikers and attacking midfielders to run like mad things at the centre of their defence....all game.

Not a bad plan.

I think trying to get Aguero, over & over with the ball at his feet, facing John Terry, would sort things out nicely.

This all day long . I hate our slow build up sometimes . And it certainly won't help this week giving Chavs back line time to organize . But do we know how to be quicker ??
