This Weeks Other Games | 31 Jan-1 Feb 15

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Jan 31, 2015 9:57 am

A big weekend of football ahead which if it goes right we could be hot on the heels of the Chav's but if it goes wrong, they move further ahead and we slip nearer to the chasing pack.

I can see wins for the Saints, Rags & Arsenal this weekend which makes our game even more important, if it wasn't already.

Off for a game of golf now, let's just hope Leicester & Villa can get something from their games, and we smash the Chav's on their own manor.

Today

Hull v Newcastle 12:45
Crystal Palace v Everton 15:00
Liverpool v West Ham 15:00
Man Utd v Leicester 15:00
Stoke v QPR 15:00
Sunderland v Burnley 15:00
West Brom v Tottenham 15:00
Chelsea v Man City 17:30

Sunday

Arsenal v Aston Villa 13:30
Southampton v Swansea 16:00
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

How come the Asia Cup final isn't listed?

Exciting game if not the most skillful, Australia can thank Spiranovic for a late block that was worth a goal in itself. Funny because he should have been sent off in the 2nd half for a flying tackle to the leg and stomach.

Oh and Kruse went down injured, looked like his ankle, got booked for diving and then got stretchered off, ref must feel like a right knob.

Amazing watching the rags. The way they are lined up, they are absolutely relying on Lecester fucking up when they get the ball.

If they don't, then they will just run straight through them, time and again. And it's happening just like that; Lecester blow every possible opportunity to counter attack.

You will never see a bigger example than the goal which the rags have just scored.

I'm still amazed how that leicester player just stopped playing football altogether in the middle of the park giving the ball to blind.

It really is as if Turtlesed knows teams are going to do it, so just puts out an 11 to cash in & not worry about anything else.

Sounds like Ireland's having a good game for Stoke, two assists (both to Walters) for a 2-0 halftime lead.

surely Cristian Eriksen is the best free kick taker in the Premier League….

Seb Larsson can whip em in and Yaya, when he's on, is great too but Eriksen has been incredibly consistent.

Watching West Ham at Anfield, every fucking ball they hit is in the air, either straight down the middle or down the flanks. It's fucking pathetic.

Sturridge just scored a great finish for scouses 2nd & they deserve it.

Fuck off Fat Sam, you disgusting Philistine cunt.

Don't you know, I don't give a toss outside of the Premier League.

However, it doesn't stop you from mentioning it and bringing it to the fore.

On another note, the Rags must be now title contenders.

How the fuck are scum only five fucking points behind. We've spent all season laughing at them not realising we haven't been much better.

Five points!

Because some teams are still intimidated by playing them. As were Leicester today. If we conceded the same number of chances to teams as rags do, we wouldn't be in the top half.

Daft as it may seem, Loserpool in seventh place are only five points behind the Scum.

I think the rags are going to struggle to stay top 4. There's a big battle brewing.

Absolutely.

As well as looking upwards in the table, more and more they could be looking back at other teams breathing down their necks.

Their current self confidence, if it actually exists as opposed to being a media fabrication, could prove to be very brittle in such pressurised circumstances.

Great flick by Ozil to Giroud for Arsenal goal. Villa's high line suicidal against Arsenal.

He's been keeping them in the PL without spending any money and so has earned himself some brownie-points, presumably. Be interesting to see what happens should they drop into the bottom 3 at any point in the not too distant future.
