Cambridge hit the post in the 1st minute and since then the Rags have dragged them about. Saying that, the ref seems to have been briefed this time.

Actually, it looks like Butthead has gone back to Taggart's, and somewhat Moyes tactics of sticking tall players in the box and then crossing every ball to the 6 yard line or penalty spot.

That's the new philosophy, as well as a back 4.

Listening to the rags on Radio 5, Claridge is slagging off the way Buthead has set up his team something wonderful.

Out of the three replays tonight, this is, potentially the least interesting. So why is it televised? (Good luck to Cambridge though, they could do with the money)

Excitingly progressive from the Dutch master strategist. He's breaking new boundaries.

Few injuries and a sending off would be the best result tonight. Hope Cambridge do them over.

Little Mickey Owen is creaming himself as if the Rags were playing Barca, Real or City.

Well, that might be the off button for me.

All's I see is a field of cunts surrounded by a valley of twats, and a team that are 62 out of 72 in the FL, 99 places below a £300 million pound squad.

The FL really do give the Rags a chance. Who next though?

What's this love-in with the Rags U21 team? Sky showed the Rag v Dipper game and BT Sport are now showing the Chav v Rag game. Can't they get the rights to ours?

Empty seats, surely they'll mention them going, in their droves?

Official Attendance (tickets sold) was 74,511

Actual attendance??? No idea but I would be very surprised if it topped 50k

So at a guess, 25 thousand people paid for seats they had no intention of sitting in because the club threatened to ban them from the next home game if they didn't. That must be what's meant by 'doing things the right way'.

40 I would have said.

So if that's the case, the empty seats must all have been season ticket holders & they have counted them as having attended. But surely then, those seats must have been paid for otherwise even the rags couldn't count them as attendees ?

Season ticket holders were threatened that if they didn't buy a seat, they would lose their place for the next league game.

Here's the question; how many of us, would pay £50 for a cup ticket, & not go, if City did the same ? Pay an extra £50 for an FA cup ticket you're not going to use, just to be able watch City v Sunderland, when you'd already paid for the Sunderland game anyway on your season ticket ? I recon most of us would tell them to shove it. Most rags I know would too.

Now there was a thread on here re our empty seats, where some of us were talking about how many rag season tickets are owned by touts with overseas customers buying packages for games & using season tickets, & wondering if it's starting to happen at City.

Imo, that 20-30k empty seats the rags have counted as attendees for the Oxford game, is likely because the seats have actually been paid for, & that's because 90% of them are already sold to Norwegians, Irish etc coming over for the Sunderland game, so the holders of the season tickets are told to pay for the cup games, by the touts who use those tickets, then get the money back from the touts, probably when paying for next year's ticket. Otherwise they would have to turn away customers who have already paid for football 'holidays'.

Imo this shows that Utd have 20k+ tout season tickets at the swamp.

The Cup Final is due to be played on Gerrard's birthday, his lad game for the dippers - script written.

Odds on a rags v dips final.

(Of course I wouldn't suggest that the competition is fixed - oh no no no)

Brendan Bodgers has said that Coutinho is the new Luis Suarez.

No pressure there then.

I wonder if he's had new dentures fitted in anticipation.

Is he going to get 31 goals then Rodgers? What an idiot. I wouldn't have Coutinho in our midfield. Yaya, Nasri and Silva are all better in the position he plays. Lopez in a year or two may well be as well.

How jammy were the dippers last night by the way? If Gudjohnson hadn't missed that simple header it was 2-0 and game over. You can bet good money that would have gone in versus City
