Do we blame clairefontaine for a lot of this?
Imagine if a generation of the best English kids were all playing in Spain or Italy. Open revolt. The national front would bomb football club offices.

loads of french players in the squad.. usually nice football but leaky defence.. out of domestic cups & already very close to being out of the title race.
