Cheers for that, I looked in myself earlier about their defence crisis.......

Carver reckons Mike Williamson will relish going up against Bony...... The fans appear to have very different opinions of the player and reckon he'll be arse raped even if he came up against a two year old.... Let's hope so LOL

Thanks again for your work. Found myself giggling at a number of those comments. Probably as downbeat as any team for a long time. Made my morning

Blimey they have it bad up there. Quite surprised by the attitude in view of our form and the fact that their teserves have already beaten a strong city side on our own patch.

One can only assume that if confidence amongst the fans is so low, the team must be suffering too and it was a good observation that we really now do have to start thinking about goal difference in games like this

They are more pessimistic even than City fans.

Newcastle would be ideal candidates for a bit of investment if not for this ffp bollocks. Especially with the new tv deal. I wonder how much of that will end up disappearing.

A new owner with a few quid chucks in similar investment as a one off even; Newcastle suddenly have a start at the top 6.

54,000/week, single team city, they'd be perfect.

I believe that ADU had a look at Newcastle before coming to Frank. Apparently Mike Ashley valued his club well above market value and was acting very unprofessional during negotiations. No surprise they bailed quickly, looked at Everton as well before coming to us.

I've seen people suggesting that, but I'm not sure how true it is.

Possible of course they spoke to several other clubs as well as City (you probably wouldn't put all of your eggs in Frank's basket). But the potential area for redevelopment around the ground puts us in an entirely different situation than most other candidates I think.

I don't think we are even 30% into the finished 'project' as far as Manchester goes.

I didn't get the chance to read this before the game, but quite a few of them accurately predicted the 5-0. They are better than Lawro.

Came across this link:

Watch on youtube.com

made me remember that for the decades before the money came in I used to always consider that there was a lot of affinity between the fans of CITY, Newcastle, Villa, West Ham etc.

I could feel his pain and I am just grateful that the sheik chose us (he could have chosen any club) so that I do not have that pain anymore

I've been subbed to his channel for a long time now, you'll feel less sympathy for him if you knew how much he slags off City.

Maybe his comments are the way all Geordies are feeling at the moment. They send back half of their ticket allocation and then hundreds of them left before half time, I dont understand the mentality to make the long journey to an away game and then leave before half time, no matter what the scoreline is.

I was expecting to see the goals there, rather than some subhuman.

Couldn't switch that off fast enough.

You know the first line, he's talking about me.

He blocked me on twitter over the weekend. :)

The only bit I heard as I was hurrying to switch him off.

Yeah, but won't be doing that a second time unfortunately.
