What an absolute pleasure to have someone who actually tells the truth about City.
When Redknapp started with all the cliches, Bellamy mentioned the effect of the World Cup, & injuries, on City's season.
Then he said pre game, how he thought Dzeko was a decent choice, & he got all the little animated players lined up on the screen as he thought might happen in the game, with Newcasle's wide players pressed back & Cisse isolated, then during the game, you could almost have taken Bellamy's pre match screen, & put it over a still frame of the actual game, man for man.
Just wiped the fucking floor with the lot of them.
And predicted City to win the title.
Oh and said IT'S NOT 442, WHICH IT FUCKING ISN'T.
The first pundit EVER to realise it.

Was an interesting evening over on BeIN sports also. The pundits with Keyes and Gray were Trevor Francis and Keegan, and from the very off they were on one about Mourinho's behaviour.
Richard Keyes started off by saying he was cheating the fans, the premier league and the broadcasters with his repeated petulant refusals to discuss games in a calm and responsible way, Francis actually called him odious and a cancer on the game, whilst Keegan and Gray tried to diffuse what the other two were saying. Francis in the end gave examples this year of Mourinho's behaviour when they haven't won a game, and every time it was blaming the officials rather than accepting his team played poorly, he finished by saying both Mourinho and Chelsea lack class, he hopes they don't win another game all season and that Abramovich throws him out of the British game forever this summer.
They also called Van Gaal a fraud of a manager and Fellini one of the dirtiest players to grace the premier league in the last 20 years which was quite funny too
Was a very entertaining watch

If they were all working for Sky, Mourinho would 'possibly have a point' & Van Gaal would 'need time to put his ideas into practice'.

Yeah Redknapp kept jumping in to put a stop to Bellamy talking tactics, & sense.
Bellamy did well though. Interesting he said that when he played v City, the whole team plan was to stop David Silva.

It's not a bad plan, if Yaya is at AFCON and Nasri is injured.

They managed to beat us once with everyone fit & worry us again later in the season. Although it was more to do with shite defending on our part.

I saw Bellamy too and thought he was very even-handed.
I also saw Setanta Ireland on Saturday night and oddly enough, was quite impressed by Kenny Cunningham, who was having none of it, with Maureen. He laid into him after the interview and basically said that his so called tactics are predictable after every defeat and that it serves no purpose for his team. It's all about him.
He said that he can be critical if he actually puts a proper argument together to back it up, but too often he just questions the integrity of the officials and brings the game into disrepute by doing so.

Just to add. I also watched MOTD and thought Sheared was very predictable, in saying that Newcastle were shite and made it easy for us, not that we were very good.
Mind you, Newcastle were shite.

Interestingly, there are many on here who have really complained about Francis' commentary being anti city in the UK, but he is a pretty decent pundit given the ability to say what he thinks.

Bellamy knocked spots off Redknapp. And Redknapp knew it.
The coverage on Bein Sports sounds great. Bit like what it was like pre 1990 in England before Sky and the Big 4

Towards the end of last season I saw Francis on TV and he said as an ex City player he wanted us to win the league. Well done Trev, I thought.

Anyone noticed how Redknapp's main role these days seems to be to work the gizmos on the electronic screen? Trying to make himself indispensable methinks. Give him another year and he will be gone.

Bellamy talked sense about us on live tv. Expect to never see him as a pundit on one of our games ever again.
