Amazing when you consider the team they used to have. I think they have over 100 players in their squad that are loaned out too?

From the Guardian earlier today:
Public prosecutors initiated bankruptcy proceedings against Parma on Wednesday, and a hearing is scheduled for 19 March. A rumour went around over the weekend that the club were being wound down with immediate effect, but that turned out to be false. The footballing authorities remain anxious to avoid such a scenario while the season is still ongoing.

Marcotti on Radio 5 Lies has just said that under the previous rules they weren't allowed to have this level of debt but since the Italian FA has changed its mode of operating to one that mirrors FFP then debt was no longer a worry for clubs. Basically saying Parma going bust is a direct result of FFP.
