Kevin Keegan just said something similar right at the top of the BeIN preview show.

I just wonder whether these people have been involved with the champions league hype for so long, they don't understand that it's not that we don't get it, we just don't fucking like it. We don't need educating about why we should admire boring, wank group stage games which bore everyone to tears. We see it for what it is, hence why we don't fucking turn up

Well this isn't a boring wank group game. It's fucking huge. No excuse not to get up for it.

Anyone got an example of us winning a big game with Aguero as lone striker then ?

Seeing as it's so obvious.

Tactics are irrelevant, Ted, when the players start out like starstruck dazzleclowns.

I won't forgive Dzeko or Aguero easily if they don't put in a real shift tonight. If they both don't we're fucked. These players always go on about wanting to play on the big CL nights. Let them show it now.

I wasn't listening either, Ted. Not that I'm spamming, obviously, but I was listening to my excellent new album, Spring, on my headphones. (£7.49 from Amazon and ITunes, etc.)

Ooh, proviso time from Ginger Pig. "Barca aren't as good as they used to be."

Win-win for him, then.

Love that we are being positive and the pre match talk is positive but I would have had Frank in instead of Edin. Here's hoping I am totally wrong.

Why do people have qualms with this formation and selection? Honest question, I don't see the problem. Is it the two strikers? Is it Jimmy? Is it Fernando (Hi Moonchesteri)?

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Can I just say that I'm proud of the fans for booing the song? Stick it to the man!

Looking forward to Clive's roaring approval of City's every touch. You know, like he does with every English side... except one.

Aguero and Dzeko will need to work their assets off, if that line up is to work.

Hoping we don't lose like craven fools again, but if we do let it be like this - attacking them.
