i'm learning a lot.

However, my 9 year old is uncut and i will have NO fucking idea how to handle any of the shit that's been mentioned in this thread....he's in the wilderness as far as that goes. Thank fuck for the internets.

cheers

I had to read back through the thread to find out what the fuck you're on about, but I get it now. My own fault for starting it the way I did, but that's more like it. A bit of humour is probably what's needed now.

Nothing wrong with the discussions going on, but I just need a bit of positivity at the moment. I'm no looking at this season through blue tinted goggles, I just have a more optimistic long-term future in mind. I can live with the short term, even if I don't like it.

Don't get down - most of us know what you mean and I guess fully agree.

In another thread recently I posted that in a sense I feel sorry for the Blues not old enough of have been through those 80s and 90s - they will not ever experience what we have. I meant well just like you do - but when someone posted something like ".... yeah well enough pain - character building is one thing but..........." - you know I thought - fuck me he is right.

So lets make sure that we do not get like those mard gits on sadcafe but - yes lets not accept poor performances either

Just had the proverbial and it was lush, especially as I was just called up and the business done. Back down (*cough*) to post on here.

And NO (!), it wasn't better when were down in the mire, it was fucking gash. I loved the game day, the humour, the social aspect, but there was nothing better than when we beat the Rags at Wembley and then going onto beating them to the PL, NOTHING!

The silver lining, if you can call it that, is that we're still in the CL and sat in fucking 2nd of the fucking PL. How fucking great is that, especially as the Rags aren't even in the CL or anywhere near us in the PL?

I always look on the past with a healthy glow, and look to the future even more.

There is only a silver lining when I no longer receive loads of texts and messages from scum bag supporting mates of mine who take the piss when we embarrass ourselves.....

Until they stop..there is no fuckign bastard silver lining.

Right now , Pellegrini can go do one and he can take Captain fuckign Richter scale with him.

Exactly. One can only conclude he must be saving them for the over 40s side.

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

You don't have to worry about your banjo string with regular sex. Just be careful if you get a blow job from a girl with diastema.

I can understand that and in fairness the analogy probably doesn't help, but it's not the point I'm trying to make. I'm not saying because we were crap in the past let's enjoy ourselves now. I'm saying even though thing were crap in the past I never once would have swapped being a blue for any other team. I'm also saying that it seems like it hurts more now because we have a good team that don't seem to share the same passion as us at times.
The Silver Lining as far as I'm concerned is that I still firmly believe the future, more long term than just this season, is still very much blue.
There will be knock backs and they hurt because we care.

So the silver lining is that we may be better in the future? Considering the age of the current squad, that's unlikely unless we either spend more money than we're allowed or the kids who apparently aren't good enough to even play in the Capital One cup this season turn into league winners by next.

It was much more fun when we were shit, and we knew we were.
