They should be sacked for allowing this TiT of a manager to buy the lumps of shit he brought in.

Barca will fuckign spank and embarrass us.

4th manager in how many years we are closer to Roman's scheme than we realise. The Bony one for both him and us looks like a punt that will never work.

What have they done to make them unsackable?

The key players are the ones we had before they were at the club so their transfer policy is not really working.

They have overseen the building of the Campus, but none of the Academy lads play in first team matches. The improved facilities for the first team have not seen an upturn in form. The opposite actually.

We are not haemorrhaging money any more, I suppose but that does not put points on the board or give fans trophies/value for money/entertainment/something to sing about.

So what have they done?

Had a conversation with a dipper tonight.

He gave it the whole "pelle" isn't worth shit. I asked if matic, cesc, costa transfers would have made us 10 points in front.

He had no answer.

Oh they are doing a good job alright Carl. In getting rid of Roberto and the questionable signings we have made , they are just keeping us below Barcelona .

Just where they want us to be.

Agree serious questions need to be asked of these pair.

They sacked a good manager in Mancini and downgraded to Pellegrini.

They cost us in the FA Cup Final with their handling of Mancini.

They have spent so much money and how much has it improved us, it hasn't.

We failed FFP.

You can't really blame these two for that though can you? Or can you? I mean, as far as I understand it City did everything they could and UEFA moved the goal posts in the last minute to fine us.

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I don't believe they downgraded from Mancini the players hated him. The 2 upstairs didn't cost us the final the players on the pitch did. The same players that aren't performing now

You're entitled to your opinion.

The job Mancini did at City is significantly superior to that of Pellegrini. The two manager's CV's, Mancini's is superior.

The players on the pitch did cost us the final but the talk in the media and the supporters was Mancini being sacked on the day of the Cup Final. Is that right? No. Should it have been handled better by them? Yes. Did the uncertainty and circus contribute to our defeat? Yes. So they take some of the blame for the Cup Final defeat.

Yes, you can and to an extent I think you're right. It's just that I don't think you can evaluate a lot of their purchases just yet, with this season going down the drain because of dressing room issues above all. But even if we did say that all their purchases were and are pap, Txiki would still have to get credit for the academy though, which seems to be producing a lot of players with bags of potential. Both accomplishments and failures would have to be weighed in is all I'm saying.

Also, I think that it's tempting to blame them for not bringing in new competition to the attacking force but on the other hand, we were scoring for fun last season and I don't think they could've imagined last season's free scoring squad to stop producing on the same level all of the sudden. Both the attack and the defence are suffering from deeper issues within the squad and as long as it's not proven that they, Txiki and Soriano, are the ones who caused this, I think they will need to be evaluated on a more long term basis than this one and a half season.

They didn't sack Mancini to make room for Pellegrini, they sacked Mancini because he lost the dressing room and that's fatal for any manager. They bought Pellegrini in because they needed a peacemaker to repair the shit that Roberto caused in his wars with Tevez etc. and preferred managers simply weren't available at that juncture.
Mancini's shit handling of the players cost us the FA Cup - the way he put Hart in for Pants was a cunts trick (and I say that even though I was a Mancini supporter!).
I'm amazed at the negativity on this forum - I used to think that we were made of sterner stuff than the melt down junkies on certain other forums but nah. . a load of high pitched squeaky voiced pantomime dame style exaggeration going on in here and its unbecoming of supporters who once proudly earned a reputation for stoicism by sticking at and keeping the bottom lip in check.

Blow your noses and pull yourselves straight eh?
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.
