He's exactly what we need, in the position that we need too. He's as close to ideal as it gets (if we lose Milner, which is very possible).

We may well "only" want to pay £30m for Bale. However, there is surely no chance of them selling a player for £60m less than they paid for two years previously. Plus the rags would stump up £60m in a heartbeat. Or PSG in all likelihood. Even Valencia now they are bankrolled by Peter Lim.

Was shit last night but it doesn't alter the fact he is a damn good player in his position who has pace to burn. He would be awesome for us IMO and would be worth the £60m if that's what it took. Add up the fees we have spent in the last few years on Sinclair, Navas, both Ferns, Garcia, Rodwell and it's quality over quantity.

He may well be the type of "crack player" Pellegrini was alluding to the other day. If he got fifteen goals and a similar number of assists he could do the heart celebration all day long for me!!!

Bale is the sort of bloke who signs for Utd.

Can't imagine him coming to City.

he really is....that celebratory douchiness confirms it. HOWEVER...if he were to get a bit of religion and find Jesus, i'd have him in a second.

some balance...pace, width, goofy-footed, a fucking canon leg, free kicks, corners.

Ticks a lot of the boxes we've left left unchecked time and again.

cheers

I see Bale on the move this summer. Has anyone seen the Real supporters kicking and punching his car? Spainards don't even know how to do it right. You take frustations out on opposing supporters face not your own players car. Dipshits.

Looked like right mincers those doing the kicking. Surprised Bale didn't jump out, slap them around and dress them up as sheep before bumming them to death.

If Real get that treatment for their performance at Barca, I wonder what they would have made of our lot.

To be fair to the Real fans, I bet they thought Bale's car was being stolen by a member of the cast of the Planet of the Apes.

I think so, he signed for the Scum before the 03-04 season and the season he turned 21 was 05-06 so he had three complete qualifying seasons. Bizarrely.

I swear year on year the media are getting worse and worse and worse.

Should be some laws applied to this constant invention.
