Given the capacity increase and thus additional seating, AND the fact that they want to potentially add more seats, AND given the rather subpar fare this season - yes I know we are still 2nd but expectations have been raised around here and we cant keep harping back to 1999 - Id be "hopeful" that prices are frozen.

We keep reading about how we have a new Official "Bicycle Repair Kit Partner" in Singapore and rumours of a huge link up with Citi Bank are circulating too. Add in the new Gazillions TV deal and youd hope that in order to encourage the paying fan, we wouldn't be tapped again.

Yes I know Im dreaming here and it wont happen, but prices shouldn't be raised when you look at the whole thing and what we've watched this past season.

The Citibank thing is weird, I didn't think the relations between Citibank and AD were exactly friendly following the massive investment balls up!!

I think you will see a price freeze apart from the standard first come first served handful of cheap £299 tickets. Then there will be the mass hysteria regarding the relocation of the middle tier due to the 50% price hike to get it all corporate.

If we do have substantial funds available in the summer, for new transfers, it would be rather nice if the Club were to consider allocating some of that money to actually reduce ticket prices.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be by much but it would be a nice way of siding with the fans, especially after the disappointing season we're having.

I think the middle tier thing is unavoidable. One of the biggest differences between City & the rags is matchday income & that is the best area to maximise it. Not just now, but in the future. If the sides did end up being expanded, they could build all kinds of shit onto there.

They probably feel they have everything in place to eventually pack the corporate areas & charge plenty for it.

im hoping theres no massive price hike for the middle tier im in the corner of the cb/south stand, i might get away from being moved but might have to if the price shoots up, unless they give us a season ticket reduction for us to move because of the corporate fuckers

Sadly Ted is spot on about the middle tiers and corporate fuckers.

Im in level 2 in the North Stand/Family Stand and love our current seats, but fear the time will come soon when Im banished up to the third tier due to costs.

Champions League football is no more for me next season anyway due to costs/standard and next thing will be domestic Cup games which wont be hard to sacrifice given Citys approach to them this season.

I personally dont see what all the fuss is about, the 3rd tier is a great view, I have been on all of the tiers and in all stands and I would say tier 2 and 3 are better than tier 1 for football viewing but tier 1 is better for atmosphere.

I believe this is the rumour going round for the whole ob colin Bell/East Stand 2.

Is there enough room in the rest of the ground to accommodate all the people moving?

It's a big issue for sure , everyone being kept in the dark from the club , absolute zilch from them even though plenty have expressed concerns .

The new Etihad Stadium will officially open for the 2015/16 season with an expanded capacity of 55,000.

An extra 7,500 seats means even greater choice than ever before, including the introduction of Premium Seats, three new rows at pitchside and more Adult Seasoncards for £299.

Since we have introduced these new options, we are contacting existing Seasoncard holders earlier than usual to reserve or relocate their seat for next season.

With Seasoncard reservations and relocations beginning soon, all Seasoncard holders will shortly be receiving our 2015/16 Seasoncard brochure by post, along with an accompanying letter detailing the price of their current seat for next season.

Each Seasoncard holder has been given an allocated date from which they can reserve or relocate their seat for season 2015/16, and this date is detailed in the letter included with the brochure. Seasoncard holders will also receive email notification prior to their reservation and relocation window opening.

When each reservation and relocation window opens, Seasoncard holders can choose where they would like to sit using a new 3D virtual ‘view from seat’ at mcfc.co.uk/reserve.

At this stage, we do not require any financial commitment. We will be contacting everyone in May to renew (pay for) their Seasoncards, with the payment window opening on Friday 1 May and ending on Saturday 16 May.

More information on the reservation and relocation process can be found now at mcfc.co.uk/reserve.

For next season, we’re also extending Direct Debit to 10 payments, providing supporters with the opportunity to spread the cost of their Seasoncard across the season – no administration fees and no interest.

If you pay by Direct Debit, it will be auto-renewed in May with the first payment due in July. In addition, we’re bringing the Ticket Exchange service in-house, making the process more convenient for both the seller and buyer. More details will follow on this exciting new initiative prior to the start of next season.

For supporters on the Seasoncard Waiting List, we will be in contact towards the end of the season to offer the opportunity to become a Seasoncard holder for the 2015/16 season.

Supporters will be prioritised by their position on the Waiting List. We look forward to offering this opportunity to those on the Seasoncard Waiting List soon.
