Well done to Aguero for getting his 100th City goal. A brilliant achievement in a relatively short space if time. A truly world class superstar who will always have a special place in all blues hearts.

A bit of good news in an otherwise turd of a day

According to the NBC commentator he is the fifth player to score 100 for City, and is the fastest. (I cant quite remember how many appearances he said it was)

Another season like this one and he won't be here to score another 100. Great achievement for the lad. One truly world class player we have.

18 league goals is good, especially considering the shite midfield we've had all season.

You can hardly say we have a shite midfield going forward when we have the ball can you?

If we don't make the top 4, he won't be here next season and I've a feeling he won't feel a title every other season is enough either and may be open to offers this summer.

That could be true, but it would make him a liar, as he went out of his way to state that won't be the case, only a few months ago, & said he would actually stay on after his present contract if needs be, to win the Champions League, when he had no need to say anything. So it would be quite a turnaround.

True.

Also, players who leave because you win a title every second season are idiots.

Play 8 seasons, win 4 titles a few cups. Leave because you didn't win every season??

Makes you wonder where they would go. Cetainly not Real Madrid or Barca.

Bayern Munich or Celtic perhaps ?

He's one of the best strikers in the world, probably only behind Messi and Ronaldo, possibly Suarez due to the injury concerns. He could easily walk into Barca, Madrid or Bayern if he wanted to and would have a real chance of winning European trophies rather than an outside chance of scraping out of the group stages before rolling over.

And player says he's happy to stay at current club shocker. Would it have been better if he'd done a Yaya?

The thing we have in our favour is that he is tog dog at City, he wouldn't be at Barca or Real. Players like to be top dog. Get top 4 and then build around him.

You can choose to interpret it that way but it is purely a choice, not based on any facts.

He stated he doesn't want to leave City & that he would be willing to stay after his current contract runs out.

Nobody forced him to say it, he volunteered that information. You can choose to see that as a negative thng & decide he is full of shit, but I'm not sure why you would have that opinion. I haven't noticed him angling for anything in his time at City.

If he signed for Real Madrid, he wouldn't be winning titles any more often than he has at City, & they generally have a managerial crisis every two years or so.

I'm not interpreting it as anything other than an answer to a question. But a player saying they want to stay is meaningless. I certainly hope he stays, but I won't blame him if he wants out
