Just retire from international football before he even starts. It's a load of bollocks and will ruin his summer holidays anyway.

Steve Clarridge used to pay a fine so he didn't have to wear shin pads.

Really? Surely it's up to the player if he wants to protect himself or not! I remember as kid seeing a video of Summerbee legging it down the wing without shinnys on.

Funny how a year in football flies bye, he is the sub who Yaya carried the length of the pitch to score that goal last season. He looked like a little boy.

I saw pics of him on Twitter playing for Ireland so presumed he played for them but I imagine he can change if only at junior level.

We had the wisdom of Keane in his ear trying to convince him.
That should have him declaring for England sometime soon.

He looks like he could be a decent player, good to see Sherwood not afraid to freshen up the Villa side.

Think it's not looking promising for Ireland that he's gone from the Irish youth set up to stalling on declaring for the country.

Players get told off for wearing tape of a different colour to hold up their socks! Remember Silva had to go off and change it one game. Nothing is up to the players anymore.

Looks tasty. Whether he is better than what we have in the EDS and coming through is another matter, but he is getting games and experience now

Exactly.

International football is on such a decline, I reckon it will become the eurovision in the next ten /twenty years
