Renewals

Postby Wonderwall » Fri May 01, 2015 2:44 pm

I renewed my ticket and sorted out the payment today, I have decided to get the Metrolink season ticket as well. It's pretty good value, it cost me £70 for the season and that's for 19 home league games, 3 CL group games. That alone is a £25 saving on what I would normally pay on the day. that does not include the domestic cups as well and maybe going further in the CL knock-out stages. Can't knock the club for sorting that price out and that's before TFGM will probably put the metro link prices up as well.

I have renewed too. I have moved a bit more central in the south stand and higher up. This reduced my season ticket to just £380 which is a bargain. I joined all the cup schemes too as I expect us to do the quadruple next season.

Renewed also saved £180 by moving from 2nd tier corporate to front row of new 3rd tier block 318.
So I'm happy with that, back to the plastic seats for me!!

I'm in block 316 on level 3 on row v. It's the first time I have moved since I was moved from the family stand six years ago. I wanted a more central seat as I have been near the corner flag.

Just been on that TimeHop thing and it reliably informed me that my season card was £540 3 years ago I only paid £600 this year so that's not much of an increase in that time

There's planning permission in place for a further expansion (to take us to around 60k or just over) after this current phase is completed - I think they want to wait and see what the current increased capacity will do to the waiting list first - sooner or later you'll get a ticket.

No you are not pissing in the wind. I suspect many of the 9800 will soon have their tickets for next season. You may be closer to a ticket than it seems.
