Cheers for posting this up mate

They look a useful side do AZ, mixing it up with some nice quick passing added to some direct play into the forwards

These lads are great. Very unlucky not to score. Dead impressed by the old school number 9 qualities of Bolton up top. Beerman too has magic in his boots.

Definitely on top now, creating some good chances but lack clinical finishing.

Been impressed by Diallo - normally at this age the big player stands out because of physical characteristics rather than talent, but he seems to have time on the ball and great awareness of the game around him to get himself out of tight spots in possession.

Diaz, Beerman and Sancho look like they could have rough edges smoothed off to turn into very good footballers. Haven't seen much of the defenders today.

Diallo seems to be a mini Yaya clone. Playing style and physique is very similar.

Typical City haha, unfortunate but a good lesson for them about taking their chances.

Their goalkeeper deserved that, he kept them in the game singlehandedly for 60 minutes.

Another superb crop of kids playing great football. AZ have been fucking murdering thr other teams. Very lucky. Should promote the keeper in place of the current U18s lad next sesson imo. No comparison.

He's already played the odd game for the 18's and easily held his own. Yet another great prospect but to be fair all the team looked good despite the poor finishing.

What the fuck have they been feeding Brahim Diaz?! He was about 4 stone last summer. Looks like Kinkladze now.

Diallo is a bit special imo. But then again, several of those lads may fall into that catagory. With his skill pace, build & workrate, Beerman must be in with a hell of a chance. I was impressed with him as a fullback last summer. Now he's doing a Ronaldo impression on the left wing.

The technical ability involved in that chance Beerman had where he hit the cross bar was outstanding. The touch, turn and finish were nearly brilliant.

Some of the football they played was outstanding. When I first saw Diaz, I could immediately see the talent he had but he was so small that I wondered if his talent would be enough to cope. Looking at him now, there are absolutely no worries in that respect.

It was said that Barcelona had him down as someone they thought could be fast tracked into their first team setup at a very young age. I couldn't see that, but now I can. A year from now he is going to be a little lump of stone, & unless his head goes, we will probably be on here moaning that he should get a first team game. He is going to come through very fast I think.

I would have said the same about Bolton but for his not being able to hit a bull's arse with a banjo in front of goal. He's also already a hard little fucker.

Hiwula just scored a beauty for Walsall apparently. We never mention him but he is doing everything he is supposed to.

Bolton reminded me of Guidetti, but if he was more dynamic. Gonna presume he had an off game. One thing I would say with confidence is that if that was a 90 minute game he'd have scored I reckon.

Can't wait to see some of these break through to the u18s next year.

Do these under 16 lads work hard as a team?

I think we will see a similar situation to what we have now, where the players just under the current U18s are promoted but only a couple are top class, then these lads quickly overtake them, so the EDS in a year or two ends up with mostly these kids, playing well above their age group. Like we have now with the best EDS being the younger ones.
