Why?
I like Frank and he is very intelligent but we are moving nicely. New style of play beginning to click.
What had Frank got to contribute football wise?
He needs to serve his time and learn his trade.

Not really Arteta joined City without any coaching experience.

Very poor decision on the outside looking in. But you never know what is going on behind the scenes or on the training ground or dressing room. And when he has bought the players he has for the money, then rightly or wrongly he has to deliver results

Feel for him always liked him as a player and speaks well off it. I think he would have been given this season but then Tuchel has become available and theyve pounced. They have spunked a lot of money and it will be interesting to see what the new guy can do with them

Chelsea returning to form as the ruthless, cynical club they are. Can't help but think they got Lampard essentially as place holder or fall guy last summer. They had a transfer ban and their best player was leaving. So they hired a club legend but a complete rookie manager to pacify the fans and pretend that they are changing from the short term chaotic club they have been since Abramovic came in to a club with a long term project around academy players. Now that they have had a dip in form, they get the excuse to sack him. They have essentially used Lampard as a prop for good PR and discarded him the moment it became convenient to do so. I would be furious if we ever did something like this with Kompany or Silva in the future.

Looking back it would probably have been better all round in Frank had stayed at Derby, better for Frank, better for Chelsea who could have gone after him when he had more experience, and a lot better for Derby (they wouldn't be stuck with Rooney now!). But I don't suppose he could pass up the chance of going back to 'his' club, and he couldn't rely on being asked again later. His PL win percentage is actually better than the current manager at the swamp according to the ITV news.

Unfortunately I think Chelsea have upgraded their manager. We all know Chelsea live in the present and Tuchel is a very decent manager. If I was a Chelsea fan, I would be sad for a club legend but pretty happy about the new manager.

I don't think it's a bad thing they upgraded, mate.
The past two years we were playing finals, while the scouse murderers were playing friendlies week in and week out. Last year we were shit, but no one stepped up to stop the scouse and even so we finished second.
I would have love last year some else being there next to those cunts, fighting like we did.

I am not worried about us, we won the league vs Maureen, Old Taggart and Wenger. We can handle pressure.
Others can't.

Bournemouth sack Jason Tindall after 4 straight defeats. Barely been there half a season after replacing Eddie Howe. I know they will want promotion but really? Hope they remain a lower league club like they historically always have been.

I liked them. They always gave it all, no matter their opponents.
Just a few clubs can say that.

I would take a double with them over one with WBA, Fulham, etc.

Me too, they always played good football. We always beat them and they regularly got points off the rags.

City fan or not, I think he has sold his manager down the river. Half a season is all he has given him and they blatantly had a wantaway player in Josh King who they haven’t been able to rely on which won’t have helped.

But sadly, that’s the culture of most EFL clubs. I think there’s some stat that Forest have had twice as many managers since Clough left than they had in their entire previous history. And what good has come of it?

I can understand to a degree the likes of Chelsea being impatient. But not clubs like Bournemouth. Much as I don’t like Burnley, they are where they are because they’ve given Dyche time
