Everton have fired their director of football Marcel Brands, probably due to all the money spent on crap signings

Bielsa has probably overstayed by a season. Leeds will be lucky if they don’t go down this season. They have lost their identity somehow and look a shadow of the side they were last season. Wouldn’t be surprised if they have a poor run over Xmas that he is relieved of his duties. At least they will save a few quid on his interpreter!

Except he has got to sell before he buys otherwise they will fall foul of the financial regulations that everton were so instrumental in introducing. And who is going to pay much for what they have got to offer?
How's that for karma?

Bielsa's time at Elland Road will be coming to an end sooner rather than later.
A perfect example of a manager taking a team as far as he can and perhaps staying a season too long where it comes unstuck.
If Leeds want to stay up, they need a fresh approach

It's the Peter principle, which says that people get promoted to their level of incompetence

The Peter Principle does not apply to Football Managers - promotion from within until you get beyond your level of competence.
These contractors are not party to this concept. They are supposed to be the experts. However , as in other walks of life there are "Consultants" ( ie Managers on contract like Pep ) and there are bullshitters that bloat their CV's. For example, Big Fat Sam is technically at the level of the northern premier league ( amateur).
Raffa has been bullshitting before he ever went to Scouse2 , never mind Scouse1.

I know it doesn't really apply, but I love the theory.

In the liverpool slums
They look in the dustbin for something to eat
They find a dead gran and they think it's a treat
