It won’t be Conte. They went for him before Nuno and talks broke down. Conte seems like a passionate ‘I’ll give you one chance’ kind of guy. He probably realised having to deal with Levy would be a nightmare.

I heard yesterday it will be Conte, they want him in fast to stop rags getting him when Ole fall off the wheel

I don’t understand why he’d go from winning a league title to fighting for top 4 with a chairman that’s exactly the same as the one at Inter. Makes zero sense for him.

It looks like Conte will be appointed. Personally think he is the wrong man as he hasn't proved he can build a side. It smacks of desperation by Levy as a last throw of the dice to try and get top 4 back before Newcastle overtake them. Its a similar scenario to them getting Mourinho and that was a disaster

Joke of a club imo
Nuno is a good manager and should have been given time to sort their overhyped squad out - levy also should have sold Kane, it isn’t nunos fault he’s downed tools in a sulk and is probably poison in the dressing room

Hope we learn something from this and don't go for Kane.
He was a coward to break away, stayed, played shit and got his manager sacked. Pathetic to send this message as a captain.

Yep - in august for Spurs and on a few occasions for wolves
If Spurs had won last weekend they’d have been 4th

Yep, in September, he should have stayed at Wolves.

People go on about Levy being this great businessman, but how many millions has he wasted in sacking managers? The guy is a shitty businessman.

Reading in the Beeb gossip that Conte wants over £230M as a transfer budget. Almost like he has not met Levy.
This can only be great news for Ole at the swamp. Long may he reign

I read that’s why talks failed last summer between Spurs and Conte. I hope he’s learnt from Kane and got this promise of £230m in writing

Tottenham are set to pay Nuno Espirito Santo a severance package worth £14m - but a clause in the Portuguese coach's contract would have allowed Spurs to sack him for free at the end of the season if they had failed to finish in the top six

What a fantastic businessman Levy is.

This now really smacks of Levy frightened to death of the barcodes as someone said earlier ,
