Mo now 2nd fav at 3/1 behind Hughes at 6/4.

The derby shone a spotlight on the issues of which there are many:
  • the Rag players are better than the derby suggests
    the football predates Noha's ark
he has turned silk purses into sow's ears (we wanted Sanchez and Fred and we do not make that many mistakes with transfers in)
Martial and probably Rashford would blossom in our setup

I cannot see how Mo can or how the Rag board will allow him the time to turn it around
They are ££££Ms down and accelerating backwards

If Hughes catches a break with Southampton and the Rags falter in the CL I am running to the bookies.

A strange appointment. His style is so very different to what they play. Looks to be the wrong fit. Ranieri to Cardiff would make more sense.

Haha read a comment that Hogson must be on thin ice after only managing to get a draw at the swamp.

Hughes has gone. A draw against the rags was too much to take.

They should have held on a few weeks. Woodward might have given them 50 million for his services.

Understandable really, you've got to be beating the shite around you. Strange decision to appoint him in the first place. Where do they look next - is Harry still in the jungle?

Their next 4 are either tough-but-drawable or must-win fixtures. I guess they're hoping that the caretaker guy will instill a bit of squad camaraderie for these games, or they've already got someone lined up.

With a few exceptions the same old names who are either serial flops or quick-fix-and-move-on types or minimal experience.

A draw against the biggest football team on Earth rags isn't good enough to keep you in a job these days.
