Its a real tricky one, despite what they have said.

They've done the right thing. They've put the club's future above the individual.

Everybody has targets and in my job if I'd done well last year, but shit this year I'd have got the sack as well, and not got an £xm payoff. Why is it some think these multimillionaire mangers deserve more grace based on past successes?

My heart bleeds. Don't get sucked in by the bullshit from the likes of Lineker who is also paid above and beyond what's reasonable. The guy was so fucking confident he said he'd wear his pants on TV should Leicester /Ranieri succeed. Was funny at the time but hardly a vote of confidence.

Fucking reality check.

Agree with this.
Success in Football = plaudits and plenty of money.
Failure in Football = no plaudits and plenty of money

Tough shit.

We sacked Mancini during the season after we won the league.

Chelsea did it with Mourinho.

Sign of the times really.

Ranieiri seems like a decent chap thats why Leicester will get so much shit, also the reason he got so much praise last year. If that had of been Pearson that took Leicester to the title the media might not have been so warming.

Shocked to see this happened and it's hard decision to get behind.
BUT this game them a chance to stay in Prem.

If it was the players who pushed him out as I've read Leicester can fuck off get relegated and I hope none of the players get a decent transfer

The last 5 PL winning managers are no longer managing the clubs they won the title with, only one is still managing in the PL.

And Wenger still stands.

Amazing.

Sky Sports understands that Mancini isn't interested in the job.

Despite knowing it was inevitable, they are all shocked by the timing and on the whole sad.

They are putting the following down as options...

BoobbyManc

Hiddink

Bodgers (in jest I believe)

Gary Rowett

Needless to say the fans have him down as legend

Ironically if bobby manc does take the job he'll bring Leicester to the Etihad on 13th May. Exactly 5 years on from 'that game' when he went down in history as the first city manager to win the premier league - irony!

The question has to be asked :

Why would he do it?

He's played for them before so maybe some sentimental attachment.

Employment, money and a challenge are some reasons, champions league for 1 match or maybe more?
