untill yesterday I'd had backed this statement with all I have... not sure now after what I saw of that game.
showcase of cluelessness masterclass, imo. anyone can do better.

WHU are missing Upton Park big time. Also in the squad he has a lot of lazy cunts and that are doing almost close to none. Still, Gollum? In this entire world, you, as a club, think that Gollum is a solution?

I wouldn't trust Gollum with buying toilet paper. He had 12 years (or more) of mediocrity at Everton. The only place he would fit is the swamp.

May I be thunderstruck if I'll ever think Gollum ansd solution might fit in the same sentence, Spider!
but the setting on that corner, leading to 1st goal by salah... too much to take!
anyone can do better than that, including my football snubbing GF, methink.

very good point on too many lazy cunts out there... never bought into the missing Upton Park or WHL thingies, tbh.

Steady on chum.

After Everton, Gollum has honed his managerial skills further at the Swamp, Real Sociedad and Sunderland.

West Ham could now be the shining apex of his glittering, heady career..........

........but then again, perhaps not.

Hope Walmai hasn't chucked himself in the drink at this news.

Even if Gollum was the only manager available it would be more beneficial to not have a manager. The players could take it in turns to discuss tactics each week by the drawing of short straws. Imagine being a West Ham fan at work tomorrow!

You can't help feeling sorry for 'em can you. Walmai comes over as a genuine Footy fan . like Ianwright and they get lumbered with tosh like Gollum and Sam the Eagle. Hope they don't top themselves. The very idea that Gollum should be anywhere near the Premier league is laughable. Maybe that's why WHU are taking him on. Relegation material.

I can't help feeling sorry for Zabs and Joe Hart having to put up with this.

I don’t wish this upon them either, but Mourinho would keep them up with a load of 0-0’s and the odd 1-0 at home.

He could be available sooner than you’d have thought.

I know mine isn't a popular take, but what about the rags grinding the Special Moan and ending up by hiring a Decent One, for a change?
I already said the last I want is to have someone like Luciano Spalletti, fit with an open checkbook and the rags power!
just saying, again...

Foullaini is available on a free at the end of the season. Expect Moyes to bid 40m for him in the winter transfer window.

Thoughts are with the good people from Upton Park... a sad day (and a very risky one) :(

No way would Moaninho let him go. He is key to his tactical approach.

Safety-first managers will leave Premier League on the hard shoulder
'Football is too great a sport to be paralysed by fear and the longer it strangles our game and promotes safety-first appointments, and the accompanying arcane philosophy of football, we will end up with 14 or 15 Premier League clubs rejecting the opportunity to develop better futures in favour of focusing on survival.'
